Crazy watching this interview compared to the newest in-studio appearance he just did on the MMA Hour. He has never been “humble” so to speak, but this was at a time where his best days seemed ahead & I think a lot of people were interested to see how far he could run in MMA & at black belt. Now he’s kind of got the Triple C cringe factor because he isn’t active but wants to stay relevant. As an Irishman I hope he gets his knee healed and is able to get back in the gym and hopefully return to Bellator.

As a compassionate person, this is tough to see, as you can clearly see this Marcelo Garcia situation hurts him. Marcelo Garcia it's The Greatest Jiu Jitsu competitor, teacher and the nicest guy ever. If you got kick out from his academy you have 2 go and sleep outside till u get back in coz u own everything to that guy. Now he just rides Conor train wears his sun shades and make his eyebrows ready for Maybelline.

Marcelo has a reputation of being one of the absolute nicest people alive. For him to kick you out...man...

Ariel is a Genuine nice guy. I went to the Mcgregor Mayweather press conference in LA and I waited till the press left to go to interview Conor and Floyd and the guy sitting next to me said "Hey that's Ariel" I see him running in a hurry and I yell "ARIEL YOURE THE GREATEST" he stops running to go interview the biggest star in the UFC and one of the biggest in sports to acknowledge me and say what's up back. Great guy.

Connor has the youth, size, reach, power and momentum.. but it's still not enough to beat the best defensive boxer of all time. I love McGregor but he's in way over his head here but the confidence he has in himself is contagious and he's backed everything he's ever said leading up to this and that's what makes this interesting from a fan perspective.
