I was there to witness his greatness. Considering the amount of terrible sound issues he had during this concert, his performance was perfect. Actually, it's amazing that he managed to pull this off so well. He presented the best versions of some of his songs there. Actually, it would be nice if you check out and react to more performances from this concert, especially Ascolta la Voce, Late Autumn, If You Never Breath Again, and many others. And then also check out his WOW Arena concert in Sochi, where he didn't have such sound issues, and especially the songs Battle of Memories, Just Let It Be, Mlle Hyde, Durdaraz, Give Me Love and others. Phenomenal performances all of them.

Your observations are correct. You must also consider that this guy is never spared, that he is singing a lot, that the times of vocal recovery are too few, and that he probably sang this song after having already sung other very difficult songs during this concert. ..the voice of anyone has limits and must be respected. I say it as a professional opera singer.

I really love when singers sing different from the original but still awesome. You can see that he is able to do everything that you expect him to, but he does it in a different way. I agree with you 100% on your comments, really outstanding.

Thank you for another great reaction video. I was on sight in St Petersburg and loved this version of SOS as well as how well Dimash handled the sound issues (which unfortunately continued during the concert). It was a concert with vibe, show, humour, lots of love and many wonderful moments. My favorite of the evening, beside SOS, was the live version of Ogni Pietra (Olympico). Amazing..

Minor slips can actually add to the feeling. And Dimash is known for being like this in his concerts, totally and emotionally committed as well as improvising and presenting new twists. He basically involved the audience in "helping" him by singing along, which I think was a brilliant way to handle. And the high note in the end was almost on pitch! No doubt he is struggling with some sounds and technical issues in that show... if you see more performances from it you'll notice. There were also some strange stage show stuff going on.... Dimash did great as always though!!

You are absolutely right Caleb, Dimash did have many sound issues during this concert. That look on Dimash`s face....he wasn´t happy, he was like "are you serious right now?" I went to see him live in Düsseldorf, it was awesome.

I love that he is using such creative improv on this version. Sounds like he is coming into his own and using emotions in the moment. He is also using more ethnic runs and trills and I love it. Note after what sounded like fire crackers going off, he came back on perfect pitch.

Caleb, He is a different version of Human unlike us!!!☺️ . Super Human probably??? His Abu festival SOS is different again, raw again. Check it out, no need to react. In spite of plenty of sound issues, he blasted it!!!!! The entire concert had a load of issues. And this was after singing and dancing for more than 1.5 hrs I suppose and still he is 99.9% on pitch, which I haven't heard any human do , lol . Every version of his sos will have variations. I love them! You need to do the ascolta next! I am so jealous that I can't travel to any country where he sings for now!! I will settle for live streams 🤣.

Its another prove that he didnt Lip Syncing in his concert. Even with some technical issue he still do it great.

Ur right Caleb he wasnt able to hear himself almost all thru the concert. But he managed it pretty well he was able to perform other songs almost pefect & tried to smile & have a good time. But as u said even when he misses some notes or makes flat ones he never sounds annoying. His voice is still beautiful & soothing. His performance of s.o.s at abu tv event was flawless & he imroved his french pronounciations. Nice reaction tnx.

Dimash has sung SOS in numerous times and all of them are different. My favorite SOS in a live concert would be the one in the Arnau concert in Kazakhstan. It was to remember his late friend Denis Ten. It is very moving and heartfelt. 😢😭 It was kind of a duet because in the middle of the song they added a clip of his friend singing. 😭

Some of Dimash's performances sound lip synced to me. But not lip synced to his recording .. probably to his live rehearsal vocals. Possibly, so that he can also be more dramatic in his actions. This sounds real to me. Because he is actually pitchy ... it gives all us singers some hope (LOL). He is still on several other levels to most.

Yes he is a professional,, I wish his team would be too. It is so disrespectful to not have your technicians up to standard. Dimash deserves the best, he is the best vocalist in the world at this moment, how on earth there are always some technical issues? That is why my favorite performances of Dimash are the ones of the Singer 2017. They had the technicians and the musicians to respect fully the art that is Dimash.

Its not only a simple sound issue unfortunately. Starting from the very first second of the song, he had issue with mic and loudspeaker sound. All those sound booms towards the end of the song, was bursting in his ear which causes a good singer becomes detonated, lose pitch and vocal even at some points, made him only missed one note there. Felt his ear pain from here and amazed again with his talent n professionalism.

Dimash is realllyy an artist who is dealing with a lot of sound issues. It's not even normal anymore. There were a lot of explosions in his in ear we didn't hear. It could have damaged his ears, but still he really did his best to not loose the performance. But this is the 1000th time already. When are they goig to do their job better, cuz that could be really unpleasent and unhealthy hor him. But still he killed it tho.

Someone made a short compilation of frustrated Dimash which is quite funny to see. 😁 Sound was a problem all round and he gave some dirty looks but he had fun, we had fun and it was brilliant.
