As a Russian myself I'm ashamed of what my country and many people of my country do, especially since 2022. It's unacceptable and unbelievable that some still choose a path of death during our time and age... I moved to another country, I faced some challenges, such as a necessity to learn a new language, to receive a work permission, to start a new career path, to live away from homeland. But everything is better than joining a war from the aggressor side. I realise it's a privilege to avoid the war in that way, but I believe everyone can do something to choose a path of life. I wish everyone to live with love, acceptance, and to have a peaceful life that everyone deserves 💙🕊️

This song/video was three years in the making. Not only did Dimash compose the song and sang it, he obviously acted it but he produced and directed it. This video is one of the most expensive one ever made not to brag about it just that is how much this message meant to him.

In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. The story is about the 3 kids on the beach as they grow up. Dimash character is the one who was drowning. The older boy become a hateful person for the girl chose dimash over him. The girl grows up married dimash. They have a daughter who is killed then the woman has a boy then she died the baby gets emblem for peace then dimash character kills the guy who save him from drowning them himself dies after being shy then drowns. Sad

A wonderful reaction from a tearful Maddy and many watching like me. I was at the Dimash concert in Kuala Lumpur, now three weeks ago, and heard Dimash sing The Story of One Sky live on stage and his performance was charged with an even greater emotional attachment, I think from the previous weeks passing of his Grandfather that was a shock to Dimash and all us Dears and many thought it might influence whether the concert might be cancelled! We need not have worried, his commitment was absolute. Yes, the live version of this, the best one on KZfaq I think is at his Almaty concert. Just out of interest, Dimash has a piano version of The Story of one Sky, that he plays himself!! What a Singer, what a composer, what an Actor, what a Raconteur in song, what an example of humility and worldwide Ambassador for Peace - My idea of the perfect human being. Two Nobel prizes at least: one for Peace and one for contribution to the Arts!

The Story of One Sky Iwould say not only shows off his amazing vocal and musical skills but Dimash's humanity as well. Not sure how I missed this. Dimash is the best male vocalist I have ever heard. By magnitudes. This song is a work of art. I have seen it make so many so emotional and for me it is beautiful. It serves to show me that there are good people, people who really care, people who have good souls. When I watch people reacting to this it gives me hope.
