Dimash's outstanding vocal dynamics and vocal embellishments.......he's a master painter through his singing. Here you can see Dimash is much loved and respected by all the audiences and industry professionals.

The song is very pretty but Dimash just made it beautiful. He finessed this song easing in and out of each note and coloring each phrase very carefully. There is a tone of sadness and being forlorn over saying goodbye to a friend who is leaving. But then Dimash keeps it somewhat light and hopeful too singing of a coming spring. Maybe with the spring is hope that the friend will be able to return. Singing sad but hopeful is really very difficult to pull off. Dimash does beautiful job weaving the visuals, the colors, and the emotions of the song. And that part where he says "we are bonded by an angelic soul".... I can't help but think that Dimash is that angelic soul who has bonded all of us together.

At the end, most singers need to get the "momentum" to get to that high note, but Dimash just did it effortlessly without having his voice cracked. That's amazing!!! And it isn't always the high notes that make a song great, but even by using regular notes (sorry I don't know much about musical terms), Dimash could shows us how a great singer should sing a song with emotion. I hate it when people see/admire him just for his vocal acrobatics 😢 that's not the essence of "Dimash" For him the most important thing is "emotion" and "storytelling"! His high notes and acrobatics are there to paint the picture! Some people mistakenly think that he's all about technique and that's not true! The essence of Dimash is "soul"!! His voice and way of singing are made to touch your heart and soul! Sadly, some people only want to react to his grand songs 😢 his beautiful heartfelt songs are not appreciated enough, just because they are not "EPIC" or "mindblowingly crazy"!! This is shaping up to be one of my favorite Dimash vocal performances since "Autumn Strong" in 2017. It shares some of the same sophisticated nuances that amazed me in "Autumn Strong"; but here, 3 years later, his vocal skills are even more polished, mature. There is naturally more resonance and fullness in his lower register, as expected with age and practice. But there's also what sounds, at least to me, like new dynamics. It's like he's using more cord closure in his falsetto, and he's mastered falsetto in a lower range...it's a very unusual sound. He's using more crescendo and decrescendo than in "Autumn Strong", and that final, fading high C note is extraordinary. We've heard Dimash fade a high note like this before and it's always beautiful. This time I think the control he has on that note is the most precise I've heard from him. It doesn't just fade to almost no sound, it fades to a complete absence of sound, yet you can still hear its vibration. I'm not a vocalist, so excuse any improper terminology. This exquisite performance takes my breath away. Thank you for reacting to this so fast, Caleb, you're awesome. 🥰

Caleb, I clicked like before watching this. I knew it must be good haha. Anyway... here is my take. Dimash sang this song with full reverence. This is perfect and how it should be to sing a song that is based on 1000 years old poem from Tang Dynasty,. The song is about parting ways but still there is hope to meet again in the future. Listening to this transporting me to another world, this time it's an ancient China, willow trees along the hill, wind blowing on the riverside, orange tinted sky in one tranquil evening with a hint of both sadness and hopeful.
