Our dinkum full playthrough has been going very well, we are on pace for a pre-Autumn deep mine run. The deep mine is hugely important for our ability to progress to better technology, but we need to farm dinks to get the deed done.

just to let you know its not worth keeping the mining helmet, you can get a better hat that is cheaper and don't need to recharge

That's the candle helm right? I haven't found one yet, I thought it only comes as a treasure in the deep mine

You can get it from your townies from what I have read on the wiki, but I think its a low chance

It's a very low chance, at least for me. I have 200 hours & haven't found one. Townies at max hearts, checking the clothing store daily, among other places you find it. I use the mining helm because it's the only thing I can find.
