3 жыл бұрынIn this video I finally embark on the new chapter of my "What my Ancestors Wore" series, and start working on my Bregenzerwald costume. Starting from the foundation garments, the first piece I need to make is the bodiced petticoat. Which I just liked so much, that I turned into an everyday wearable garment.

Really really nice what you are doing. I am from this region. My grandma would still wear the Juppa to special church days. My mom also still has her own with elements inherited over generations. (Only one thing. The Bregenzerwald is not a part of Bavaria!)

It came out so lovely and is super cute on you! I would be very interested in the bodice pattern used in period, as I recreate period outfits. What was your source, please? I really enjoyed your video and would like to learn more about 16th C. headdress construction. Keep making these great videos!
