Dear Ibaisiac, my 4 year old grandson turned me on to your channel. He's obsessed with Vacuums. Imagine my delight at finding a channel that we can both enjoy. We watch you all the time for hours on end. You are very funny. I'll be looking forward to the demo of this little Dirt Devil. At that price I could buy one for my grandson. I think I'll go check Amazon now.

Thanks for that. We've just bought one for about £30 from a local retail outlet. It wasn't all that clear how to empty the dust box from the manual, so your demonstration was useful to us. It doesn't cope with cat hairs too well, and soon got clogged up and ground to a halt, although it was easy to clear out the hair from the cleaner head. NB, it does say in the manual not to use it on hard surfaces. It has got nice feel to it, is light and manageable, but you'd perhaps want something bigger to manage a whole house.

Looks just like the vax dynamo 25.2volt (other than colours ) I purchased recently for our camper, I know TTi group own both brands 🤠 the vax is lithium battery, difficult to say if dirt devil has lithium battery. Keep up the good work.

for those of you who are wondering what that noise is is what is known as a soft start motor control this helps prevent motor where and death from being shot out through the back filter. a lot of brushed motor vacuum use this feature now. while it sounds like the motor is struggling not just the pulse width modulation from the controller.

My grandmother bought me a kid's Dirt Devil when I was 4 or 5. It was my size but had a soft bag and it plugged in and really vacuumed the floor. I loved it but sadly my dog ate through the bag. Now, you can't pay me to buy a Dirt Devil but this one seems okay for small cleaning jobs. I like that little sound it makes. I suppose I am a nerd as I get excited about the little things most people can't be bothered with.

does the charger say 110-220v?

I currently have an identical vaccum, just the purple vax branded version, and it doesn't charge at all. It's shocking they let this through.

I put my v7 trigger and my shark duoclean anti tangle cordless stick vac in mess tests with natural dirt (my dads studio was chokoblocked with natural dirt)

Good for 24 quid! It's not the usual creaky and rough edged stuff VAX would churn out. As you say seems quite solid.

Well... I didn't buy this Dirt Devil because it wasn't on sale in the US. So I bought my 4 year old grandson Jude a used Vacuum for $3.99 on Amazon. I felt like you when you do and unboxing and it wasn't packed well. Anyway the vacuum had never been used and would have been a good deal if it worked, but it didn't even turn on. The box was all beat up. Amazon gave me a refund and let Jude keep the vacuum. So I bought him a brand new $20 corded Dirt Devil. It's not very good but Jude loves it. He named it Charlie. He does "demos" all day long and even has started collecting his own "bag of filth". Joy. ;)

10 hours of charging and only 15 mins of running time!!?? No thank you! And 15 minutes is when the battery is brand new but all batteries deteriorate, and so does their life span, so chances are the day will come when you won't even get 15 minutes out of it. I think I'll stick to my corded Dirt Devil Vibe Quick Path. I like to do a thorough job when I vacuum. The last thing I need is to feel rushed and hurried in my own home, as if I were at the car wash and I had to rush to get my car vacuumed out before my coin runs out!! And I'm sorry, but you must be sniffing glue to spend $1000 on a cordless Dyson Stick vac! At THAT price it had better come with a motorcycle!
