That's mostly what I learned too, wrestling is great at teaching humility and self discipline. You get a lot of respect for someone just for stepping on the mat, reguardless if they beat you or not. It really is more than just a sport.

DirtySantos is just a dirty human.. He was dirty way before Iowa. Happy he's finally done and never won a National Championship. NCAA National Champion is a prestigious title and DirtySantos is certainly not deserving of that title.

I'm a principal and 1) That's an insult to MS gym teachers =). 2) If I did hire him he'd cost the school money when he smacked a kid. Great idea though - I'd be so embarrassed as a parent or his coach.

I think Plott can make a run and many for some reason are forgetting about him despite him being 4th in the nation. Fix I really just wanna see him win one I mean I feel for him cause I came up second in tournaments a lot and it stinks, but when I got my first big tournament win it was definitely all worth the mental taxing I had to go through to get there. Granted I never won a natty or been as big of tournamentsas him, but just coming up short a lot was rough and when you finally break through eventually it's just awesome and I wanna see Fix get over that hump.

@Football Oklahoma yeah him going to PSU and becoming the man he’s become makes me question things at Iowa. Iowa is undoubtedly amazing at wrestling and some of the best wrestlers in the world but their guys haven’t progressed much aside from Spenser Lee. You’d think 6 years of college wrestling marinelli would look better than he is. Young and warner don’t look any better from their freshman years. Just seems like the whole team aside from maybe cassiopi, murin, and desanto are burned out.
