What are the BEST things to see in ARCHES NATIONAL PARK?
Well we spent two days at this popular and unique national park. Since the past few years national parks have gained a lot of recognition, and with Arches being somewhat on the smaller side they have decided to experiment with a timed entry model.
Even with the timed entry there were parts in the park that become very busy in the afternoon, especially the windows loop. This area has some amazing arches and you honestly don't even need to leave the parking lot to see them. which is why I think it was so busy. It is a great area for non hikers who just want to see some cool arches.
But the star of the park, and arguably the most iconic arch really in all of Utah is Delicate arch. It was a 3.5 mile out and back difficult hike with very little shade. I suggest you bring a lot of water with you. You are going to need it!
