To clarify based on good conversations with associates in the comments-- the 10-code system is differential based on your area, so make sure you design a catered list based on what your local departments are using, along with other useful acronyms and other tips to add to the template card. Customize it to your needs! Thanks for watching!!!

I’ve had people make fun of me, but I keep a first aid kit along with a change of clothes and toiletries in my SUV. Getting stranded fucking happens lol

Why would someone make fun of you for that!? I keep snacks and water handy in my car too in case I get stuck in traffic or something else happens and stranded for hours. It’s good to have a first aid or trauma kit in your car. What if you get into an accident or come upon one? Common sense. I respect that!

Yeah- good pointers here. I remember a couple times on some ruck marches back in the day, not having enough foot powder or not changing out socks when they get wet- not fun at all. Good video-

Ps, one thing I learned about maps, they change frequently. At least for aeronautical purposes. Always good to get a new one every six-twelve months or something like that

Yep I talked about that in some prior vids, just have physical maps in general, they're pretty essential.

Multi tool should have the basics, spare blade, saw, awl, file, can opener, pliers, etc. anything extra is a plus

You wouldn’t want to see my toe nails, lol. Problem with the 10 codes, different in different areas. 10-14 in parts of Massachusetts for example is a want/ warrant check. In parts of Tennessee, a 10-14 is a Jeremy Dewitte, aka, funeral escort. And so fourth. When I had to learn the civilian law enforcement alphabet, it was confusing. I still don’t know all of them but I know the military ones, lol. I love the write in the rain. Came in handy a few times. Good video!

Yeah the 10-codes aren't a national-standard template besides certain codes, so people definitely need to cater it to their local area. Hah yeah the LE Alphabet is dumb honestly, half the time they just use Mil/ NATO alphabet anyway, or understand me when I use it with them lol, but there's some departments that are adamant about using it. Good man lol!

Good evening!!! Great reminders!! Loved at the end, “drink water”….. you probably should have added, “wipe your ass”! lol Seriously though, the multi tool has so many damn uses, and yeah, don’t cheap out….. go with a Leatherman or a Gerber… I have both, like both, but prefer the Leatherman Wingman. Of course foot care and general hygiene go without saying! All great stuff and thanks for the reminders! Take care man!

I swear I recognize you. You used to be on R1sky Chrisky channel? Either way very good vid i already carry nail clippers cuz i dont bite my nails and i always carry my multi tools because i need them to open the gas door on my car.
