to play devil's advocate, they seem to be dipping their toes into a lot of functionalities which might help them find PMF by seeing what users use most

Great video. The more I think about AI Pin, the more I think it's the correct form factor for this new category. I also think this new category of contextual computers is here to stay.

I think being able to use a phone without an actual phone is kinda cool. Unfortunately I don’t think AI is quite there yet.

I definitely agree there's a lot of ground to cover in AI before we have something crazy good with a physical device.

You are being very generous comparing this BS device to iPhone, Roadster or even Google Glass. This looks more like an opportunity to sit on sweet investor's money for a while during the AI hype than sincere innovation attempt. Amazon lost $10billion on Alexa, Google did not update it's assistant line for years and Microsoft got rid of Cortana all together - it is clear that people don't want to talk to their devices (at least yet), even in the comfort of their home. Why not integrate it with the phone instead of that weird hand projector?

Yeah we're at the schrodinger's cat stage right now - we don't know if this tech is gonna stick or not - so definitely I agree I'm being generous. Deep tech is hard to land, even with $230M and an ex apple team

@@SidStartupGarage Yeah, time will show. But I think that a smartwatch with AI capabilities and phone integration would miles ahead in terms of usability.
