This whole album carries messages, every track. It's not popular with certain fans but everything must evolve and change if it's to survive and the band felt they needed to do this. Personally, I love it and *raspberry* to the naysayers.

Well said! I am almost one of those fans. It is my least favorite album overall, but the ballads on this album are beyond beautiful.

@@D0nut42 It's hard as a fan to appreciate the need of our favourite artists to expand, grow and explore beyond what we know and love them for. It's the bigger person, the bigger fan, who can let them do this. Good for you for sticking with them during their time of exploration. Much love and respect.

It's also frustrating that with any artist when they release an album that's gone a different direction than the past that it's a "new direction", like it's permanent. Life is wide and varied, as is music about. Just because one doesn't like the newest album from an artist doesn't mean you won't like all the albums after that.

David Draiman...amazing voice!! A powerful yet soulful voice that can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, from clear as a crystal to rasp/distortion/vocal fry and back on a dime, which is incredibly difficult to do and he makes it look so damn easy! He has a timbre in his voice that I've never heard before........just hauntingly beautiful and pure tonal properties to it! An awesome talent. Loved your reaction and your take on the performance. Joey, if you want to hear something awesome from David....listen to his collaboration with Nita Strauss (on guitar) called "Dead Inside" ....it's unbelievable! .....and quite heavy. Think you'll love it!

We played this song at my father funeral on Oct. 3rd this year, and I love this song and while it begins tears to my eyes every time I hear it, it reminds me of him so much and I'm thankful for the memories I have with him, I hope to keep his memory alive as long as possible.

We, 2RG, did this song about 5 months ago and we absolutely loved it. So emotional and beautiful. Practically brought us to tears. And yes, the line souls who are not remembered cannot survive is the saddest line I’ve ever heard. Disturbed is amazing. Great reaction. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤

David said in an interview that they wrote this song and shot the video after watching Coco. That's the reason for all of the masks.

Please do check out more Disturbed. The Light is another great song with a positive message, a bit harder than this but lighter than much of their catalog. Two of their harder songs that I think you will like are Inside the Fire, and, Stricken. Use the official vids for all of those. I enjoyed your reaction, and, hope to see more Disturbed (and more Nightwish, too!).
