I've recently discovered there are a smorgasbord of these types of games on mobile app stores. It's impressive. I guess this is a winning formula, maybe I should design one.

everythingirl.com has a ton of Matel Games. Last time I checked, they had a Diva Starz Game where you could Dress the Girls up. They pretty much do the same thing here, as they did with this game. Say stuff like, "Fab," only this one was a little bit more Judgmental.

The old Diva Starz website was cool. So was the old Bratz website. And the old Barbie website. And Polly Pocket... What's Her Face, Flavas... Hell, even the old Cartoon Network website was cool. These early 2000's (toy) websites were the best. I really liked the games they had... And to be honest, I wish someone had archived all of the games from those old sites (in a playable format). It would be incredible for my nostalgia.

Literally my childhood though, I was so addicted to disney channel games, then moved on to CN and Nickelodeon games, and then somehow I was obsessed with myscene and played a whole bunch of those games and also barbie games.

American Greetings Kids for me. They had games for all the shows they distributed, I was on that site almost every day when I was a kid; the site is still up last time I checked, but nothing on there actually works.

Anybody who ever owned a furby themselves, or had a sibling who owned one, knows those damned things were possesed. They ALL had this nasty little habit of turning themselves on, particularly in the middle of the night. It wasn't uncommon to be woken up at 2-3 AM by creepy laugher in the living room or recreation room, only to see the damned thing cackling and flapping it's ears.

Unfortunately, we recently had a new generation furby at the house. I remember, that when I was little I used to see that awful creatures at the posters at really old hall near my aunt's house, I couldn't look at them without fear. And the new generation furby - oh god, it was turning on in the middle of the night like the old ones many timed, and it laughed like a maniac :

we had that happen with a Furby, old generation, and it scared my sister and i. I was also terrified of a cabbage patch kids thing that waved its arms wildly at high speef and giggled. there was also this weird clown thing we had that rolled its head lightly. it freaked me out. we also had a hello kitty doll that blinked and.. tilted its head? that creeped me out a little.. and a blues clues blue doll thing that had its battery got all messed up (i think the word is corroded but i cant say for sure) and it started talking slower and slower over time, the pitch lowering a bit, until it almost sounded like it stopped but it didnt- its just.. very slow. and finally a "Neo Pet" robot dog thing that had techno music stuff and just..what. it started turning itself on in the middle of tge night and i was freaked but was done with its shit

I got a new-gen one for the heck of it, and it turned evil. I partly wished it would spontaneously combust in the middle of the night, but I think that hell-born abominations are immune to flames. It turned on by itself one night and cackled, and my brother thought we were being haunted.

omigod xD I had the blonde one too! My aunt bought it for me at a garage sale and yes I too wondered why her feet and head were both so freakishly large lol dude the noise it made when it turned it's head or blinked was so freaking loud, and weirdly the doll came with a clock feature. You set the clock so she could order you around, like "it's 3pm, put on my capri outfit" or "it's 6pm I want my pajamas", literally that was the most interactive thing that she did.

I work alot with kids, i am a ta with a second grade class on weekdays, and i work at a Saturday daycare. i usually love kids, and they usually like me. But those things freak me out. But they will probably die out, unlike frozen....

I'm actually a bit of a Furby fanatic... It's my guilty pleasure, ok? Not really the furbys themselves, but the robotics inside. Broken ones can be found on eBay for pretty cheap, and fixing them isn't too hard.

I remember my sisters and I going on the DivaStarz website and playing all the games. They were pretty fun, for 90s elementary kids. Brings back nostalgia for me. I looked up the website a while back, to see if it was still there. It was, but there was only one game when 'they grew' and had to get new clothes. Now, i looked it up, and it just directs me to the barbie website. Pretty sad, in my opinion.

I remember these! A friend of mine let me borrow hers for a bit, and my parents hated it! When they found out that one of the things you could do was "tell her a secret" they immediately made me give it back, like telling a "secret" a plastic doll was something terrible.

At my previous workplace we had a skinned furby an a shelf. It did have some battery issues so it had to be powered with a little wire contraption and transformer so it would fry. Then it also had slightly broken speaker and some other broken insides which caused it to sound distorted as well as not recognizing most of the "touches", feeding or anything like that. I know it has nothing to do with anything but the furby in the intro reminded me of that abomination office mascot.

Omg!! I loved Diva Starz! I remember the days of dial up internet that I would waste hours playing on the Diva Starz websites. I also got one of the dolls way back when but it wasn’t my favorite character. It was a Christmas gift and being the picky brat that I was, it bummed me out until I got over it. Sadly, I don’t have that toy anymore. Good memories, though.
