Shannon and Lakisha have been together for 8 years and married since May 2010. Both say their relationship changed considerably once they said “I do” and both are now ready to say “I don’t” and move on. Shannon says his wife’s gambling problem has really caused problems in their marriage, leading her to constantly lie. Lakisha says she should be able to spend the money she earns however she pleases without Shannon’s constant criticism. Lakisha says she cannot trust Shannon after catching him talking to other women on social media and then disappearing for a week. Shannon says all he wants is his freedom.

I strongly dislike women who bully thier men, especially bigger women. A lot of men already have a complex about dating bigger women, especially one that bigger than them and it's for this reason alone. I wouldn't feel like a wife or a lady trying to "throw my weight around" to make a man do what I say like a mother figure is sad.

Having heard the news of judge Lynn Toler leaving the show, I must say the show won't have any appeal for me at all. I personally don't think anyone can be as good a judge for this show as judge Lynn Toler. I have seen a few other court shows but they've never interested me like this one. The judges on all those other shows lack something in my opinion. They're not the complete package like she is. I guess I won't be watching any longer. Good luck to her for her future endeavours.

Man I thought y’all were lying about Judge Faith replacing Judge Toler. Made me pause the darn video to go be nosy. I like Judge Faith 🤷🏾♀️ Fit just seems odd, never would’ve anticipated her being the replacement . Idk. However, I do know Judge Toler’s wisdom is unmatched but she seemed to be “over it” and not willing to waste her breath in the newer episodes with the new direction and format.

Judge Faith is good but lacks the life experiences that I believe is required and is possessed by judge Toler. That's what makes DC pop. JT has the responses and advices based on her personal and professional experiences.

Karl Gabriel Very true. & Judge Faith’s statement regarding having personal experience and the ability to relate to dating in the world of technology and social media only leads me to believe that the show is definitely about to take a “reality tv” approach, hence some of the recent guest. That insight that we’re used to getting from watching Toler will be a thing of the past.

She's way too controlling and self absorbed. He can't even go out to the gas station while you can gamble all your money away? You don't own your spouse. If you're petty enough to not let him drive the car because you paid for the gas then you're too petty and selfish to be in a relationship. Relationships are about two people mutually deciding to put their spouse before them. In the 'I, me and myself' world, it might seem weird but this is how both people feel wanted and cherished. This also teaches us to put others before us, not everyone but some special people. Only with that kind of love we can happily compromise for loved ones.

I had 2 read the entertainment news for confirmation that Judge Toler is leaving the show. It is sad news but I'm sure that she ready for new adventures and I can't wait 2 see what is next for Ms. Toler. I used 2 watch Judge Faith and with all due respect, DC will not be the same. I'll catch the episodes with Judge Faith just to see what she will bring but I don't think I'll be watching DC everyday because Judge Toler is DC.

I agree. Personally I think DC should just . . . fade away. I've seen Judge Faith but . .. she is totally different judge for totally different courtroom. These issues blow my mind sometimes. So petty. I just love Judge Lynn Toler because she's old school and has the best advice. Miss her 😢 soooo much! Yall, it's simple... a man NEEDS respect and a woman NEEDS love. Doesn't mean to lack one or the other, because both are vital. But we are wired differently and this makes for a much smoother marriage. Women lose respect, and then men lose love or vice versa. It's a vicious cycle once you fall in it. Remember, respect your man, which is how you SHOW HIM you love him. And love your woman.... meaning SHOW THEM that affection/verbalizing your love for her. When I see couples like this one, I always think about that old funny comic picture...where the wife is looking for her husband and calling his name, and he's in the room with her, but she doesn't see him, because he is stuck in a certain place, that is out of her visual sight.

The comments got me messed up. I had to pause to go to Judge Lynn's IG. So she already left DC and Judge Faith is stepping in? Issa no for me. I loved Judge Mablean and Judge Lynn, but I've seen Judge Faith and she is a wee bit rigid and flat to me. Nope.

I've kinda noticed in some new episodes like Judge Lynn seems tired of all the bull that she's seen come before her and just gives. . .passes to folks. Personally I think DC should just end then instead of getting someone new. Judge Faith? Really? I like her but I just don't see her stepping into Judge Lynn's role. Like stay on your own show and just shine in what you do instead of stepping into someone else's shoes
