Awesome! That makes my day to hear that. My experience was just the opposite on the bearings. I order some online that I thought were the correct size, the inner diameter was too large. I ended up returning them and order the bearings from www.dixonztrparts.com, and their bearings were perfect for me. Thanks for the feed back, and sharing on the bearings you found, I'm sure someone else will run into that same problem and find that information useful.

@Blindowl1234 How do you know the cones are good? I have a Zeeter 30 and it only goes left in forward. It actually is easier to drive backwards. I've seen in several places that the drive chains need to be replaced but I'm concerned it might be the cones. The drive chains are really loose so I was planning on starting on replacing those and see what happens.

I bought one for like 5oo . I lreally like mines . Just typical problems , but motor solid. Mines kind of look the same

The one in the video was weak on the right side and strong on the left. Follow the videos and you should be able to correct it no problem. Good luck

@@ycali609 Some progress. I have it steering better but still having some issues with it going up hill. I may need to replace some parts. I left it on the back burner while I knocked out some other projects and I need to get back on it.

Mine has same problem

Grinding noise could be bearing going out or the cup is making slight contact with a cone. Smoking belt could be a number of things. Is the belt old and worn out? Are one of the pulleys seized? Also check the belt keepers (little L shaped rods) and make sure they are installed correctly. I once put a keeper on wrong and the belt rubbed up against it smoking the belt. Good luck

The click sound is most likely the fuel cutoff solenoid on the bottom of the carb bowl. There are only 2 safety switches on the Dixon. The seat switch to prove you are sitting in the seat. The problem is likely the switch for the parking brake. The brake must be ON to start the engine. manually close the plunger and try it. Or test the switch with a meter. The switch should have continuity when depressed.

Lots of possibilities on an engine, but they all need gas, air, and spark. Check first if you have spark, how dirty is the air filter, how olds the fuel? When did it last run? Is there a fuel shut off valve? I don't have a video on small engine repair but search KZfaq as there are a ton of them

@@davidg7444 hard to troubleshoot over the internet. Find a video on KZfaq for small engines not starting. Check for air, gas, and spark. If it won't start with starting fluid I would suspect you have no spark

If one side struggles going forward and the other side struggle going back there is a cone bad. Just need to figure out top or bottom

Simple answer is yes. You can speed up or slow down each side of the mower adjusting the back springs. From my experience, tightening and loosening the two springs at the back of the cradle will adjust the contact of the cups in relation to the cones. So you might need to tighten one side, or you might need to back it off. Either way, when you make the adjustments, be sure to count your turns, that way, you can always return it back to where you started. Also, before you adjust, make sure the driving levers are up, (not resting in their neutral slots). If you make enough of an adjustment on the back springs while the levers are in the neutral slot, you could put everything in a bind. Lastly, if you make changes to the back springs, you might then need to adjust the neutral spring on that side, so the mower doesn't creep when you bring the levers up to drive. And you may need to adjust the ball joints, so the levers will fit back in the neutral slot. Also, you weren't able to find the bench adjustment video because it hadn't been posted yet. That video is still being edited. I hope to have it up this weekend. I'll let you know when I do. Good luck!

@@thefixitdad4938 According to the "Dixon Transaxle Running Adjustment Procedure" found on lawnmowerpros.com....loosen the 3/4"nuts on the left side for MORE speed and tighten the 3/4" nuts on the right side for more speed. The disc cups work as a mirror image to one another.

Just one bolt holds on the blade. Impact wrench is easiest. If you don't have one keep the blade from spinning with a 2x4 then use a wrench to take it off
