Here's an easy project that is cheap to make. The inspiration comes from popular video games such as Bioshock and Ratchet and Clank where your armor grants you special abilities. In Bioshock 2, your plasmids can be focused into a stream like a flamethrower. Ratchet has some weaponized gloves so he can toss bombs and summon the "Agents of Doom" to shoot down his enemies. The large surface area on this build leaves tons of room for awesome upgrades! Also check out the video for the BuzzSaw Gauntlet!

You mentioned stillnhaving mobility in your wrist even if the cuff was anchored. That made me want to see a whole suit. I think a whole suit of thies stuff would be awesome. You would have to attatch parts for your legs and body differently than the arms becuase your leg might not just slide in. Anyways, great vid. Cant wait til the next one.

You should reinforce the knuckles and put some sticky rubbery stuff on the palm and fingers for grip. Cool glove anyway I'm gonna try it. Will match my war ax kinda thing

I was thinking along the same lines as you. If you could some how electricly charge the whole glove (probably not possible) so that whatever you touch/whoever you touch gets electrocuted... thats what i think would be cool but whatever floats your goat will make a great video. Keep up the good work

You could make a hookblade on top of the gauntlet if possible to grab things and hold on to things. I love your. Vids keep up the good work

Hmm really nice idea. I just made some blueprints of the iron man mark 1 glove, with the flamethrower and the rocket launcher, using this gauntlet.

Wicked looking buzzsaw glove! I have a suggestions- the little dips in the corrugated plastic allow a certain amount of flexibility. For the knuckles, perhaps they could be made more flexible with articulated plates for each knuckle instead of a solid, ongoing piece of plastic. Like taking bits of plastic and riveting them to one another, so they flex inwards naturally the way your hand does (does this make sense?)

the entire concept is just so awesome! i have a great but probably difficult idea! could you set up these gloves to come out of a backpack automatically? like with retractable bars? if you can than you have the first part of a real iron man suit! if you made one i would surely buy it! think about it! :D

Suggestion: Half-Life H.E.V suit which actually keeps you safe from some minor hazards, e.g. electricity or fire. Maybe if you can stretch funds add a H.U.D. with ACTUAL sensors for things like body temperature, external temperature, directional damage indicator, flashlight, suit power, etc.

put contacts in the fingers and put relay contacts on the gauntlets! make the power run though your hand and not the tools themselves that way no matter what gauntlet you have it will have power running to it as soon as you pick it up!
