Definitely would have gone with some different pavers and a metal ring to line the inside next time.

Just a little advice. You installed the block upside down. They are retaining wall blocks. The lip on the back supports the next course of blocks.

Good DIY project but don't forget to glue them because when not kids will climb on it and hurt them self block's need to be secure to each other

Dont you need a steel ring so pavers dont crack or explode being these are not fire bricks
