Hey man try the smr135 It's medium solids, drys quick, I've painted show cars with it and holds up strong.

How did you get the basecoat color? Did you do a estimate and get the code then?

Being a expert in the mobile repair industry I pretty much always know the material cost before giving a quote give or take by about 20-40 bucks. Which does not make or break the job ither way. Speedokote sells base coat to match by code or paint stores sell it in smaller batches if that's what you need

I was going to check the smr-130. How does that clear compare to Omni 270? I have had too many popping issues with Omni 270. 10/15 flash time. It's getting pretty expensive at $190 for clear and hardener. 5qt sprayable mixed.

@@travis3437 you should really give the smr42 a rip. Fast activator.. This clear is only 159.99 free shipping and you get a gallon and a half spray able. Holds 100% of its gloss after drying and doesn't need to be buffed. It's one of the best clears we got. Now if you want something that dries lightning fast grab the smr135 fast activator. That only has about a 3-6 min flash in hot temps

From what I can see your blend is burning from buffing because your prep area is way to small and you’re spraying the blending solvent into an unprepared area.
