Twice in one week! The only good thing that seems to be coming out about the virus is that we're getting more videos from creators stuck at home; especially from creators we only see videos from occasionally. That said I almost thought you were going to use the leftover resin to fill the oval. Might have created some funky swirls.

Hi Nick. Just recently bought this piece from your website and it's way better looking than Is shown on the video. I asked my daughter to watch it being made without telling her I had it, then presented her with the real thing before the end of the video. She is never too impressed with anything on KZfaq these days, but was absolutely gobsmacked when she saw it. She watched the video three times after that. She also started watching all your other videos and getting her friends involved as well. Looks like you will have another bunch of new subscribers to enjoy your nuttiness and brilliance.

That is pretty cool Nick! Absolutely no practical use whatsoever once it is done but it sure does provide a little entertainment in these times. It's tough being stuck inside at home so anything you can do (safely and legally) to keep busy is worth whatever the cost. I'm building model cars and my wife has really gotten into her coloring books. I sure never thought I would see the day that it would be okay to spend $25 on a single coloring book. Yesterday when she told me that orders over $50 would ship free I told her to buy two or three. It's crazy out there! Be safe my friend and I pray that you and yours are healthy@!

I don't know if you remember back awhile ago when I asked about casting resin shavings in resin. Well I just saw another KZfaqr do just that. The effect was SO cool. He tried three ways of using them; *Dying the white shavings from clear resin before casting them in clear resin. *Using shavings from intensely colored resin in clear resin. *Using shavings from clear resin in more clear resin. The effects were surprising. The dyed shavings looked like tiny brightly colored ribbons suspended in the clear resin. The shavings from the resin that had been intensely colored BEFORE shaving, had a much more subtle effect. They were light pastel ribbons in the clear resin. But the effect that was surprising, was the shavings from clear resin in clear resin. I had expected the results to be either just clear resin, or white ribbons in clear resin...it was neither. The clear shavings broke up the light in really fascinating ways. The way clear shaved ice ( but not the kind full of air bubbles) looks when you pour water over it is the best way I can think to describe it. You REALLY gotta try it, all three effects were really cool looking.

Possibly reassemble wood with glue and cut into strips to make blank 5) Resinate me, captain! (Especially if #4 isn't possible) 6) Turn on lathe Keep it funky, brother!

Nick! I just finished watching Charlie's latest video of him casting his linked fingers and I thought of a funky idea for you. If you are going to do this one more time, could you do one were you cast both your hands but you're touching your finger and thumb together and linking it like a chain in the Alginate, but not touching either hand. So, when the resin/plaster sets and Alginate is removed, you have two hands that move individually but are still impossible to take apart because you looped your finger and thumb together like a chain. Just an idea, stay safe, you're awesome 👍

Ok I TOTALLY want to try this! Since I love singing and I"m in a church band, I wonder if I could cast my hand holding a microphone as I do have a microphone at home so it could work..? I'd just need enough plaster and a big enough container to mould it. I could even mould multiple hands and paint them with different designs such as a starry sky, clouds, different scenery. That'd be very unique!

Hey Nick you’ve done so many pencil videos but you need to look into Pastels. Basically art chalk. Comes in every color imaginable and should work well in resin. The powder can probably even double as a resin color dye if you mix it in.
