Hey when you are making body butters, body scrubs, whipped body scrubs can you put any amount of fragrance oil in your products without having to weight any of it? hopefully I’m making sense .

Fragrance oils depending on how big the batch is you can put up too 6-10 drops, taste to see if it’s to your liking.

I love the detail and the outcome! Just wondering, is whipping it a little between ingredients totally necessary or just personal preference?

Thank you 🥰, yes it's necessary especially after adding the sugar. Sometimes once the mixer is mixing it, it doesn't grab all the sugar from the bottom so you have to take the bowl off and mix the sugar all the way through. Also when mixing in the oils, you want to whip it a little to see what consistency you want. If you add too much oils then it might be too loose, if you add too little oils it will be too thick so it all depends on the consistency of the product that you're trying to get.

Hi Jazzie, great video! my question is when you put the ground coffee and brown sugar in did it smell like coffee at that moment? Was the coffee fragrance necessary?

Thank you😊. Yes coffee has a strong smell which it dies down after a while I add the coffee and Vanilla scent for it to last longer. You don't have to add it if you don't want to

No you can't replace it but you can add it in as one of your ingredients. If you just do walnut powder and oil it would be like a paste there wouldn't be anything to exfoliate the skin. Also be mindful certain people have nut allergies so you must note that on your products when selling

Everything That I am using in this Video is from Amazon. As for the oils you can use what ever oils you desire. Depending on how you want your texture to be. Use more oils for a more loser texture and less oils for a more firm texture.

The whipped one didn't. But the dry one did a little bit the oils saturated more into the sugar and the coffee

Thank for watching, the ingredients are not listed. I used one pound of Foaming bath base, 1 cup each of the brown sugar and the coffee, 10ml of cinnamon, I used 4 different types of carrier oils. 1st Oil- 50ml, 2nd and 3rd oil- 40ml and 4th oil at 10ml. You can use what ever type of oils you desire. For the preservative I used phenonip.

Shea butter will not make it foam or lather. You will need some type of foaming Soap base.

Just seeking information. I notice you use phenonip, from my research it doesn't act well once water touches the product. Have you had any issues of mold growing as you use it?

I haven't experienced any molding in any of my products. I'm guessing the reason for mold growing is the lack of use of the products and or it staying in an area where there is always steam. Like the shower area for example. Another reason could be not using it correctly or the right amount in the products

Yes you need to weight in ounces and grams for label purposes and also you don't want to be giving away free product because it can get expensive for the material. You want to make sure its exact for shipping as well. To answer your other question yes you have to weight out the fragrance and essential oils because to much can be harsh on the skin and you don't want the scent to be over whelming to people can't wear it or can't stand the smell. Your Fine. My coffee scrubs sold out so i took it down. I write down all of my recipes and the name.I have an excel sheet that i made as well to help me keep track. You a have to decied how much you want to make then make up your recipe. I searched google on how to make sugar with recipes for a reference. For Example Carrie oil 1- ounces Carrie oil 2- ounces Brown sugar- ounces Coffee- ounces

It depends on what your trying to start off making, and your budget. Some things are pricey depending on the Vendors. You will have to do a little research on the products your trying to purchase.

3-6 months depending on how well you storage you sugar scrubs. As soon as your done making it you should store it in a airtight jar or container make sure its kept dry and cool.

There is no recipe for my Coffee Sugar scrubs. This was not a tutorial Video. This just me showing you how I make my scrubs that I sell. I will have a more in depth video on how to make scrubs.

@Joy Pratheesh lol have you watched the video? All the basic ingredients are there. Only thing you have to do is add your own carrier oils and make your own measurements according to how much your trying to make. There is also google where it's free to research ingredients for sugar scrubs. I made this recipe up on my own, I'm a small business and I sell my products. I shared the basics in the video of what you need to get started, after that its all on you. Hope that helped!
