Grandpa wasn't right when it comes to softwashing. 😂 Starting at the bottom and going up prevents streaking that top to bottom can create.

I'm having trouble, it doesn't seem to be working. This is my first day using it. No matter how much I use it, the liquid in the container doesn't seem to go down. I open the material knob full.

No reason to dilute the SH, as it’ll be diluted when you spray it. Don’t use Dawn, use Arm and Hammer with OXY Clean - the laundry stuff, not the dish stuff. Ratio is just an eyeball. Give it a good thousand one, thousand two, thousand three squirt and then throw your SH in.

You dont have to dilute. Thats what the foam cannon does. Has a dial on top for mix rate. And you dont have to rinse. Just let rain wash it off over time. Especially on roof to get rid of black streaks

Only need a squeeze of dish detergent. Not much at all

The foam can mixes atit sprays. Pressure washer with a down stream is best hands down or a 500 gallon tank with a motor and pump with 250 feet of hose You can shoot 3 stories high and do these jobs so easy.

All laundry detergent is chemically balanced to mix with bleach

Depends how bad it is tried 3% and barely made a dent 7.5% took down most of it but would need to do it a second time with 3%

I don’t think the pressure of the water had very much to do with the removal of the mildew.

I think I used the 25° tip.

Once you’ve applied the cleaning agent, you can remove the foam cannon and spray it off using the normal pressure washer wand.

Sounds like a faulty cannon. Does it work normally?

@@BellyUpFish works with my 2000 PSI Electric pressure washer, not the 3400 PSI gas, the canister itself says it goes up to 3700 PSI. I called the manufacturer of the product and the product technician said to send him a video, of the cannon with using both higher and lower pressure washers, which I will be doing today. The man on the phone came to same conclusion, as you did, that it is probably a faulty cannon, and he is going to sending me a new one.

There should be a clear tube you attach to the cannon that goes in the container. I did the same thing.

@@haydentyree2653 straight sh don’t waste your time confusing yourself with ratios and all that just get a downstream injector and a bucket and fill it with straight sh if it’s not to dirty water it down a Lil bit I personally don’t use soap but if I ever do for some reason I put maybe 5 drops of it in a 5 gall bucket

Not very long - 3-5 minutes at best - and it would have been much better with some soap, but it worked this well with a short dwell and no surfactant, it can only get better from here..

It'd be pretty hard to get an exact number. If you wanted to try, what I think I would do would be to: 1. Get a measurement of the water the pressure washer is putting out on whatever setting you intend to softwash at. 2. Get a measurement of the amount of fluid evacuated from the foam cannon at the flow rate in step 1. 3. Give these two numbers, you should be able to determine a rough estimate of the dilution rate of the bleach. From what I've seen personally, though, there is no real need to worry with that for house hold applications.

That's what I did.

The foam cannon dilutes it. Actually has a dial on it to adjust the mix rate and spray pattern. I use for black streaks on roof also. Another good tip is do not rinse. Let mother nature do that. Will get much better results letting it sit

No, I have no idea what the water:bleach ratio is. The water comes from the pressure washer. I didn't add any water to the foam cannon bottle.

@@BellyUpFish how did you adjust the “+/-“ knob on the foam cannon? All the way + would be too much I can assume, you sprayed for a bit there. Maybe halfway?

I just fine tuned it to what “seemed right.” I honestly don’t remember where it was.

Shouldn't need that much pressure either, adjust to a fan spray so you don't damage the siding
