4 жыл бұрынin todays video I show you a NEW DIY glassine paper napkin colour transfer and collage technique. This is a great way to use up your beautiful napkins (tissues) and add some colour to your junk journal pages and tags.
In part one I show you how to do the basic DIY glassine paper technique using printed or plain white napkins, this is taking it a step further making your creations a little more unique.
I will have part three coming soon in a couple of days, I've made some beautiful tags and envelope ideas to show you.

Such a wonderful lot of ideas! I was wondering if all of this would work on vellum in place of the napkin back. Because you can't wet vellum with glue without it curling and waffling I thought maybe you can attach your lovelies with a wax technique like this. When I locate an iron I'll give it a try. Thanks for your all hard work. You explain in detail what can happen. ❤

Junk Journal ideas, thank you so much Donna. I will have to order some of that glue. I did see your video introducing that glue. I have so much fabri-tac glue. I was going to use that up first. But if the bearly art glue works on the wax, I will just order some now 😀. Thank you again.

This is wonderful. I've used YES glue, but it's to sticky after suppose to be dried. When you have the finish wax napkin How are you adhering it to the cardstock to finish out a card???

hi Celeste click the show more button above the comments here, i have put a link to the glue i used in this video, I use Bearly art glue the clear one, it goes on white and dries clear, but as I show i still put it behind the images darkened areas in case bc each napkin/tissue is different brand and will show glues' differently ♥︎♡☆ 🦋 cheers Donna

wax paper for the non-stick, it should I would test it, I haven't seen it in supermarkets here in Australia, so i couldnt test it, happy creating Donna

What do you set your temperature on the iron? And what setting?

hi Lia without me going through and re-watching the video (i have the memory of a 90 y/o lol) I use 2 waxes during the making of part 1 & 2 video's I use a paraffin wax and a bee's wax, both of which i had in my stash, one from a local bee/honey grower and the paraffin from an old candle making kit from the 1970's. i also used plain tea light candles as in video one demo i think it's in video 1? ♥︎♡☆ 🦋 cheers Donna
