Bro if you want this done start yesterday! These can take months to look good because rushing it can affect the quality. Definitely recommend it as a side project to stay busy

Totally true. If you want a perfect looking armor, Halloween is too close for that. But if you're just looking to make a cool looking costume and you skip the small details that don't matter to most people, you can have a pretty epic costume for Halloween :)

@@TristanMaker that is kind of what I do I include the major details on my clone armor but I dont add the very thin strips that no one with notice when I get a 3d printer I can make more detailed things for right now, its kind of just for fun

I bought the mandalorian templates a couple months ago. Following the tutorials you provided made the process a lot easier. My only complaint and this depends on the individual. Is that there is a couple of pieces that are inaccurate to the real costume. Most are minor except for the chest plate. Other pieces would be the gauntlets, helmet, and right leg cover. An example would be that the profile of the vents in the rear of the helmet is very smooth and slim. the rectangle that encases the vents are rounded. And the metal strip that runs down the middle of the helmet has a low profile as well. Meaning it doesnt stick out much. I also lessened the thickness of the top of the ear pieces. My recommendation is to use screen accurate photos to avoid revisions after crafting the pieces for those who are detail oriented. Aside from that, the templates and videos take the worry out of "can I craft this." Much appreciated.

That's true. Costumes made from EVA foam can't always be perfect. The Mandalorian armor is one if my older templates which is why it has some slight inaccuraties, but all of my other templates are much more accurate as you can see from the video.
@1v1e_nails10 ай бұрын
@@TristanMaker For the most part it is accurate for older templates. I don't think most people will care tbh. And I do agree, that phase two clone is 👌 definitely considering it after seeing clips of Ahsoka.

Amazing work! Do you do custom jobs with other people's helmet designs?

Thanks! Unfortunately no, I only sell my digital templates on Etsy.

Are the patterns on normal paper sized sheets? And then oriented a specific way? Becuase there are large parts say a clone trooper main piece. How would the printing work and what Eva foam do you buy.
@TristanMaker10 ай бұрын
The templates get printed on multiple sheets which you can tape together into a big poster. Then simply cut out the parts from that.
@user-cd4eq8mv2w7 ай бұрын
What exactly do you mean by "printing" ? Like, 3D printing? Cuz I don't know how to do that

What foam should I get for the clone armor
@TristanMaker10 ай бұрын
I like to use high density foam for armors. All the required thicknesses are indicated in the product description on Etsy.

All the tools and materials needed are listed in the product description on Etsy. You can also Sée them getting used in the tutorial videos. You don't need too many tools, and the ones you need are pretty cheap.
