Replacing your shocks on a BMW is not that difficult if you have the tools. l suggest you prepare everything ahead of time so that you can do the work efficiently. I have the Bilstein B12 pro kit, this means I have the bilstein b8 shocks with eibach lowering springs. You can buy the bilstein b6 shocks as a direct replacement using the stock springs, the b8's WILL NOT work with your stock springs. You will need to get an alignment done after replacing your springs. BE CAREFUL USING A SPRING COMPRESSOR!!!!

Yeah the bump stop is built into these. You don't need a separate thing on the top part.

Don’t really understand why these don’t need the too bump stop? It comes with the kit

Bump stop is built into the bottom. I can try to find the video of a guy that takes it apart and shows this

Nice informative video ! Thank you :) I'm also considering upgrading my E92 with B8. I'd like to have your feedback and your feelings. How is the car behaving now ? Is it more stable on bumpy roads ? Do you have traction improvments ? How is the comfort ?

Very stable on bumpy highways, car has much more grip but understeers still because of the stock alignment, I'm looking into ways to improve that with m3 front lower control arms and a better alignment. The understeering though makes me much more confident at higher speeds on the track because I can predict the limit easier than before. Everything is safer and more stable.
