I think I accidentally found this out. Broke the stand switch in a spill and just did this so I wouldn’t have to buy a new switch. Didn’t know there was a video but good to see I did it the apparent correct way. 👍👍

anyone... even if you think it's dumb... do people ever remove elec. starters and replace them with kick starts?.. just for the "vintage" feel?..

Like stripped out or to tight to get off?

@@Higherclasshippy stripped. So it doesn't tighten. It will just roll over.

It’s probably gonna need to be retapped to a bigger size/thread pattern

@@Higherclasshippy ok thanks. If it helps anyone else, I found out Dorman has a "oversized" drain plugs which is just slightly bigger and it will retap the thread.
