that gets a subscribe from me . and i groove on the flying skills! Can you tell me what mode do you fly in full and dumbed down or full speed mode? or what ever one because it seemed real responsive to stoping and turning without a lag.? please let me know your settings .gain nice flying skills

I replaced my ribbon cable with a new one. I met started well and I was happy it worked. Unfortunately, after flying for 20min, the same gimbal motor overload issue reappeared. And the gimbal gets hot really fast, only after starting the drone for 30sec it’s already very hot. I opened the gimbal again and tried fixing the ribbon cable. But it didn’t help. Any idea what else I could do? Replace the whole gimbal? Buy another ribbon cable from another company? Thanks

What tools do you need to disassemble? Besides the hex screws, what kind of plastic clip removers, or whatever you call it, does one need? *PLEASE* get back to me ASAP* !! Thank you. I need to do a repair, however, I'm not sure exactly what it is I need. *PLEASE HELP* !!!!!

this will come up if a motor current is too high for example when something is blocking one or several gimbal motors. or if you have som sort of short circuit in one of the motor phases.

What about the black silicon that holds the ribbon cable connections in place from the factory. Do you not have to reapply the Silicone Glue when installing the new ribbon?

Sorry for my poor English expression ... I crashed my pro mavir in a tree and the elastic that hold the camera are torn. I saw on one video that someone repaired it with string. Shall I dismantle everything to try a repair like him? Is there a way to get these elastics? Thank you for your answer

ello guys, long story short, crashed my mavic, powered it on, received overloaded motor (gimbal didnt move at all) i get video tho. Ordered gimbal cable from FS LABS, replaced it, the gimbal moves but i still get overloaded errror and the gimbal doesnt follow controller commands (up / down) Bad cable? something else damaged? Please help, im desperate. BTW, after cable was replaced the camera body is getting extremely hot. is that normal? You know we start to see / feel weird/new stuff when we break something and try to repair it.

In your opinion, would be possible to put this gimbal-camera on a custom frame instead of using the usual Gopro or a bigger camera? I am thinking about this, but I do not have the expertise to do it. Would be a good solution to have a lighter frame, size 680 or bigger, to have more flight time and still good enough pictures and video quality and funtionality.

the thing is that the mavic camera definately needs the mainboard of the mavic to work. So you wold have to swap a whole bunch of pcbs and electronics from the mavic frame to your other frame. i dont know if you would still have the benefit of the weight anymore then

if you notice a tilted horizon or something abnormal you should recalibrate - it never hurts to recalibrate

from where did u buyed your tools ? my drone just crashed and i guess i have the same problem with the motors also the cable seems a little bit damaged... hope it gets fine..
