Slow Selene creeps me out. Not in a way the devs intended. Her whole sequence feels like a weird dream I once had.

The amount of polygons in a single item is insane. Like the fact that the remote you have to carry throughout the entire game has possibly more polygons than a fully produced video game (e.g. mario 64) is worrying.

It’s clever (albeit a bit annoying) that they used clay as a plot device to give an excuse for why the models are incredibly lazily made.

Maybe if they developers listen to the criticism maybe they can use it to not just make the rest of the game better but also go back and redo the first two chapters to make them better then ever before.

The one thing I like about BanBan II is how they handle the monsters, it creates this chaotic feeling that anything could be around the corner

Honestly since gameplay is where they seem to be lacking, they could've probably rebranded it as a web series of shorts like happy tree friends just with an actual plot lol from most ppls crtiques they actually ARE intrigued by the story, so I think if they decided to focus on that where they clearly shine most then this could've really taken off. Not tryin to kill anyones game development dreams, just saying sometimes its better to focus on your strengths. So like DM said, instead of putting so much emphasis on the gameplay try putting more on the actual story, make every puzzle open up a new piece of lore instead of just going straight to the next area/monster, that way it'll feel more like you get an actual pay off to doin those puzzles instead of you just being stalled for run time.
