It’s strange to me because not only did they lose millions of dollars on this game (plus marketing), some employees who worked on it moved onto another studio, and the "manager" and the developers are toxic to their fans--no one trusts them anymore. Really, what’s the point of this? I doubt that in a couple more months, when the DLC drops, people will talk about it for a day or a week and never mention it again.

The craziest thing is that if that’s really an AI voice and not just horrendous reading, they really heisted that girls voice using AI to avoid cutting her a check. Maybe they’ll use ai for all the new voice acting. Which while it’d make the game even worse, it would be something to talk about lol

The kids are the only thing they've got when all the classic Saints Row fans are gone. How did they think this game would be a success? Earned a subscribe, good video. Been a fan since the first game, and been hoping for a worthy follow up to The Third for a very long time. Purchased this day 1 in the hope that the reboot would at least get *some* things right. Nope. I tried desperately to get a refund from the Sony store because I've honestly never played a release as buggy as this. But beyond the bugs, I also couldn't fathom how it somehow felt less fluid than The Third. Walk animations. Gun wielding. Driving. Worst sixty bucks I've ever wasted man. I'm seriously hoping they add some depth with the updates. Just add in the walk styles from The Third, for example, as you've clearly already borrowed the grenade throwing animation from The Third, so why not add the masculine / feminine walk styles too? I mean anything has got to be better than those PS2 AA game animations we currently have.

Actually I do think they are trying to appeal to younger people with the AI voice and putting the official advertising for the DLC on YT shorts. That’s what it seems like they’ve been doing throughout this game judging from what I’ve seen about the game’s story and it’s “comedy”. They tried way too hard to falsely appeal to us, while not listening to any criticism that would actually appeal more to people and cause more people to buy the game.

The last good SR game was 2. 3 was fun but that's when they stripped the original Saints' identity. It's a shame they keep pushing this garbage instead of actively working in SR2 patch like they promised to IdolNinja. Last thing I heard/read about this train wreck was the game pretty much bombing. Seemingly costing over *$100 million* to make and the crap couldn't even break even. To the point the development company is getting restructured. Why even bother releasing this after so long? Clearly nobody, or not enough, people cares about this shitty Saints Row reboot.

Well at least there is the Gentlemen of the Row Mod for Saints Row 2 to have a much better version for the PC. But still, the PC version still have many issues that the mod couldn't fix entirely and most of the DLC's content are still missing. I just wished also that Volition make a much a better PC port for Saints Row 2, adding all the DLC's and even porting also Saints Row 1 on the PC, without any bugs or glitches like the reboot.

Imo, its a fun game, i am an orginal SR fan so i was, admittedly, against the reboot. I waited until recently to purchase the game and im glad i did, ive had a blast with it, if you try look past it being called Saints Row, then its not that bad, of course, SR 1-3 are the best, 2 probably being my favourite. Each to their own, but ive enjoyed it, i probably wont play again, but ive played through the campaign and that took me around 14 hours to conplete, i cant say i was displeased with it, i can only say that it wasnt exactly saints row, but then neither was 4... Feel as though this game would have done better without the title 'Saints Row', it could have been its own game with its own fan base. Missed opportunity from the devs, but im not overly sore about it.

As for the saints row 2 patch, they should cancel it, you have to remember that it’s current volition dev who are working on it so it’ll probably be broken as fuck and they’ll probably just remove the crude aspects from it.

I sailed the high seas to get this game. and even THAT INSTALL broke itself and wouldn't launch. THAT's how bad this game is.

I hope they spend an incredibly big amount of time working on all of this, just to get negative sales and reviews again, and have it flop all over again until the studio actually dies.

For me, it's just too little, too late. I got the game at launch thanks to a promotion gift and struggled through the story. After that, I uninstalled the game relatively quickly. To be honest, what I experienced doesn't leave me wanting more...

I didn't even notice the larping shit when I saw it yesterday. Even the shitty DLCs of 3 and 4 got better trailers than this. Hey Ash was a shit DLC that at least got a decent trailer. I'll give them the benefit of them not having anything to show, but even that doesn't make up for their large gap in updates. I could go on about everything here, but I'm tired man. Volition gave me the biggest stab in the heart with the reboot and nearly killed my love of the series. I still love the series but I'm on indefinate hiatus until they get their heads out their asses and step out of the echo chamber they've shut themselves in the past decade.

The franchise took a wrong turn when 3 tried to go the comedy action film route, cutting content and features that made 1 and 2 such a great standalone games instead of just "GTA clones". The people behind this one showed their true colors when getting angry at people who just wanted a return to form instead of whatever the fuck this was or the memetastic space adventures before it. I cant wait for them to come out and openly admit they will not be working on or releasing the PC patch Mike Watson was working on before dying.

Jesus from glass is half full to thrown out a god damn window, like damn SON lol I gotta admit I did actually play the new saints row since you last did a video, and its fun as long as you upgrade your weapons ASAP so its not an Austin Powers Vs the woman who wont die simulator, and AVOID the story, you do that you can actually enjoy it, but I aint gonna be buyin no DLC I'll tell you that much, did actually do a playthrough of SR 2 afterwards or before though, so maybe that's why it didnt bother me that much, as I knew what to avoid and actually had the good stuff either before or after that. still kinda goes to show they were waiting for the heat to lay off before probably dumping this, as they probably bet the larping thing was gonna be the best in the game so they doubled down only to find it was the least liked of the bunch although one thing did stick out to me, god damn was saints flow 2022, as its not saints row, saints row ended with 2, and its a reboot of saints flow 3 and 4 a female fap fantasy, like a guy who lays around with everyone, has a 6 pack, never has a shirt on and gets on with everyone and theirs no hot chicks in heels anywhere to be seen, no stripers, no hookers no nada, like I wouldnt even mention the heels but its one of the werid things I noticed in the saints clothing store, like normally they have a pin up with the halo, the devil horns and tail in heels as the logo in there and as the spray tag which I always liked which we didnt have either too now it just looks like a generic street recruit in chucks, which I dont mind but its like hey where's the hotchick I always liked, and you consider how desexualized the driver character was, like its completely one sided, and theirs no badass moments for her either like you would think they would do like with Michelle Rodreguez's charchter that they seem to want to kinda base her on but turn her into a complete dork like I dont mind it for those who want it but, its like its too far the other way now, like the games trying to hard to be your friend almost like the developer played gta 5 and saw how much that game hates on the player for playing it and tried to be nice which I dont mind in a sense, but god damn guys, its like they really tried to make the saints saints instead of Ghengis Khan the avenging dickhead from 2 only to go oh crap we went too far and then put us on this path instead, which I dont mind but then you'd better build up the villians to be as bad as we are good which their not, like it would have made so much more sense if marshal was the one who turned the narwali on us via him holding his family or something, and then give us a choice or something needless to say even though I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it because I worked around it and that does not make a game good, it just means theirs some good in alot of bad. like a 4 out of 10 on the story, 6 out of 10 on the gameplay, needs more badass also FYI in the ending video of saints flow I noticed something that might explain why saints row 2 was as good as it was, Volition Made the Punisher, as their was a poster for it on the backwall in the photos of the end credits for saints flow there, I think around 05 or 06 so I think they kinda wanted to go the punisher with the lead in 2 and is probably why we got as good a game as we got, like we got saints row 1 mixed in with the punisher vs the bad guys of Robocop, Omni Corp who are pulling all the strings of the bad guys in the city for their own nefarious reasons which is a hell of a mixture, but it worked, like funny how after all these years I only just now picked up on it. like if your gonna take inspiration from something, so are some damn good choices honestly, and they did a fine job of imitating Paul Vanhoovens style and to think if it wasnt for some stupid pirates film that failed, we would have gotten another one of his classics with arnie again set in the cruisades excusme while I yosemite sam go damn it damn it damn it at the thought of that lol
