DO THIS Before Installing The m-Unit from Motogadget | Bench-Test

Bench-testing the mo.Unit blue from Motogadget as well as the mo.Button before installing everything on the BMW R80. This step has helped me a lot, to really understand how everything works together and how I need to wire the mo.Unit, mo.Button, mo.Switch, and ignition lock.
Please keep in mind that the wire sizes are just for the bench-test. Check the manual for all the installation information. On one of the pages you can find all the required wire sizes. I'll also release a video shortly in which I show you how I properly install the m.Unit on the BMW R80.

Yeah, both Motogadget parts make it so easy. I’m happy that I went for it. Gonna start the actual wiring process tomorrow.

That is a very useful and explanatory video. Thank you for sharing this. I have a 1979, BMW R45 and it in my plans to upgrade it with m.unit and eveything. My only concern is about the ignition, starter etc. since I have absolutely no idea how the system works...

Hi man! Happy that it helps. I was super overwhelmed when starting the whole process of planning the wiring and trying to understand how everything works together. So, hopefully this helps. I definitely gained a much better understanding, which helps a lot because this week I’m wiring up everything on the bike. The video should be out during the next days.
