It’s been confirmed that Neil is playing the Toymaker. I’m so bloody excited for these episodes!

I was so hyped at Donna: "Something so bad that the TARDIS ran away?" 14: "Yes" Donna: "Well, then, let's go kick its arse!" I have missed Donna SO MUCH!

Ah, the toymaker makes sense. I was thinking it was the Trickster.

The reason the 5 second pre trailer exists is for when it's played as a KZfaq AD, it's the brief version for before you skipped, partly to convince you not to and partly for the people who skip regardless so that they actually get the cliffnotes and create a general awareness that this thing is coming out soon.

I saw a youtuber some time ago do a breakdown of a scene from the 13th Doctor era and they just recited dialogue from a scene that aired and that was between the Doctor and the Companions. Now in every era of Who scripts either get rejected or never filmed for various of reasons. The Master being Rasputin and dancing to Boney M in the Power of the Doctor was taken from an unused script from the Capaldi era where the Time Meddling Monk from the Hartnell era would return and pretend to be Rasputin. With these unused scripts from the past if you read them and even blanked out the names in them you still be able to be like oh that's Amy and Rory, that's River, that's Donna, that's Rose, that's Sarah Jane, that's Ian & Barbara or Susan, that's Jamie, that's Jo, that's Ace, that's Peri and so on and so on. When this person read out the Chibnall era script I couldn't tell you who was saying what in the scene if it was Yaz, Graham, or Ryan because the dialogue was so generic, and the characters had no distinct personalities and that was the point of the reading of the scene. Another KZfaqr did a great tribute to the Doctor and the Tardis from New Who called Sad with a Box and it really showcased the magic that was gone under Chibnall. I really feel bad for the writing Jodie got and much like Paul McGann and Colin Baker I hope she can get some justice with Big Finish.

i’m so over the moon that David Tennant is back he’s the perfect doctor for me and i’ve watched the show since 1974. David Tennant makes ever character he plays to life so effortlessly he’s a phenomenal actor and i’m not just saying this cause we’re both Scottish. I know i have two months to brace myself for David’s regeneration. The first one still haunts me after all these years and even watching re-runs of it i still cry😭😭😭. I’m also so happy Donna is back she is my favourite human companion of nu-who. I’ve seen a clip of when they meet and it’s so funny. I’m hoping Ncuti will be just as great as David because i absolutely hated Jodie’s doctor and only watched her first and very last episode and when she regenerated into 14 and David Tennant i screamed and cheered so loudly. I’m hoping they are released on the 23rd november 2023 doctor who’s official birthday 🤞🏻Take care 😘🏴

I always wanted it turn out that Donna if brought back would get to the point of burning out but she regenerates and regenerates into the timeless child....
@LordLOC9 ай бұрын
That's a real stretch I'm afraid. And not only that, RTD would have to work a bit harder to fix the timeless child storyline at this point lol

I'm so stoked it's unreal. Ready to relive the insane adrenaline rush I did with the 50th and have a new iconic set of rewatchables

i hadnt thought of the Toymaker in years. To be honest, not since the second season with Ten, where i think it was either mentioned or hinted or something. Either way, im excited. Im thinking of rewatching the Toymaker episodes just to catch up to this one cause I honestly forgot he even existed lol

The toymaker and Beep the Meep? Doctor Who nostalgia overdrive! That is exactly what I want out of the 60th anniversary. It’ll be a little weird if Coal Hill or Foreman’s isn’t alluded to in some way. Oh, and this would have been a great time to bring back Susan. Still, RTD has a little time to do stuff so fingers crossed we’ll be back to Doctor Who that I don’t want to miss.

I grinned seeing your video pop up - just realised I've been watching your reactions for years and hadn't subscribed!

Nice video, first time watcher and now new subscriber :) Just thought I’d provide some insight, from what I know the reason for the trailer in a trailer trend that’s happened a lot in recent years is for when a trailer appears as an ad, the first five seconds are quick and exciting to try and grab your attention as those are the amount of seconds before you can skip most KZfaq ads

LAUREN!!!! THIS is what I miss between Doctor Who series. Lauren's reaction vids. Can't wait for the 60th anniversary show. Tom Baker will ALWAYS be my Doctor as it was the reruns of his Doctor Who series that I was introduced to in the mid 80's...Thanks Milo👍. But David Tennant is a close 2nd. And it's DONNA NOBLE!!! Do I really need to say anything more? Now I will probably catch flak for this...But I don't think the disconnect was between Jodie Whittaker, Chibnall & the fans. In MY opinion, the disconnect was the fans NEVER gave Chibnall's vision or Jodie character a chance. They banged on Chibnall's series 1 being stand alone episodes & lack of tried & true Doctor baddies.

Why do we get a trailer for a trailer? Modern times but no its for autoplay on social media when you scroll it plays for a maximum amount of time to get you to engage with it & either click or watch in full

I normally avoid reaction videos like the plague. However I stumbled across this and your charm, enthusiasm and sheer enjoyment won me over. I am a Doctor Who tragic and this trailer and your reaction has got me absolutely pumped. Even though its a valueless comment from a nobody on the internet, for what it's worth I will be back.

There's good reactions out there that are genuine, and have good conversations about what they watched. Blind Wave is a great example.

Great to see you well. A classically bombastic trailer and you've got me wondering if all the David Tennant parts are in his mind. Just one side issue, can people say "The Celestial Toymaker", he's not just "The Toymaker".

Does it matter, it's like saying the Hulk or The Incredible Hulk ...either description is fine

I think RTD might be in trouble if Donna is...anything other than happy at the end. lol I completely agree about the relationship of the Doctor and their companion. The dynamic between the Doctor and Donna is the best example of a duo, not just a Doctor and some temporary friends. So excited to have our Doctor-Donna back!

The Companion is us. Jodie and her companions weren’t there fault but the writers fault.

if a filming location is suggested seen in filming a grim outcome is potentially coming. Either that or this is a wilf tribute scene.
@LordLOC9 ай бұрын
I mean Bernard Cribbins is in the special, in a wheelchair. You can see what looks to be the top of his hat in the scene where Donna is looking at the Toymaker dancing in the street (unless it's a different scene altogether) but since his health was quite poor when they filmed this - who knows how they finish up that story. Wilf could sacrifice himself to save Donna (or the Doctor this time) or he could be the one it looks like gets killed when the Doctor goes ballistic.
