Tbh I was only going to get this set for The Night of the Doctor 8th Doctor, but now I've seen the other two properly, they do actually look really good. Great review as always Matthew! You've made me like this set even more! Your the Best Doctor Who Toy Channel around!!!

Another amazing review, comparing them to there original releases especially the big finish one shows how much on an improvement on the paint applications on the face & costumes are a vast improvement. Look forward to the reviews of the other sets in the summer 2022 wave!

Just been to B & M today and bought the 8th 9th 10th and the 2 angel on the 13th Doctor and Yaz sets. Your video for the Paul McGann set is great.

Yes, it's Connor Temple's bag from the Primeval figures. They're getting a lot of good reuse from that show. :)

Happy with the figures but not with it as a set. Obviously it would’ve been nice to get new figures, but if the bbc is cutting the budget of the line (which they seem to do a lot with doctor who collectibles) then I guess this is how we keep the line going.

Pretty sure rights make it so they literally can’t do that. I know Big Finish aren’t allowed to use those companions, nor are they allowed to use images from the TV Movie on their covers.

Yeah and at least the costumes are different, and heads. The tenth doctor pack is a bit boring.

I was very surprised to actually find this set available in my local B&M along with the tenth Doctor set along with with the Big Chief Daleks at Half Price & The The Masters Set 1 & 2 As well The Doctors Fifth To Eighth & The War Doctor Set From Eaglemoss Who I thought Had Ceased Trading

Looks fantastic and would love to get the whole wave, except maybe the 10th Doctor one. It's a shame that you can't get them in the US without paying 90£ on ebay.

I actually got these!!! I got 1 8th doctor for my birthday (The tv movie one you shown the comparison of with this set's tv movie doctor at 3:14 ) on the 20th of september and then when we gone out and gone to b&m along with other shops we found it!!! and we got it!!! and now I have 4 eighth doctor's!! I love this set and I always wanted an 8th doctor, so now the only doctor I need is the 9th doctor (I do already have an action figure of him but It's not like these It's like those posing action figures)

Technically the second body is the Tenth Doctor's body as I believe it was first used in the regeneration set for Ten

I couldn’t get any of the older releases of the B&M sets. I tried 4 different shops. And why should I have to pay two or three times the price online?

Nice to no b&m are still selling figures I was unsure as mine has stopped selling figures and they have been replaced with paint

It's a shame that it include sonics as accessories for the three doctors better than that this is a good set. I like the set for the TV movie figure and night of the doctor I can definitely see mixing him around with the War Doctor figure or hope that we get a re-release of the War Doctor in both the younger version that we see in the artwork on the War Doctor begins as well as a older John hurt war doctor

How about a 4th Doctor set featuring his Season 12, 15 and 18 costumes instead? The Classic Season 12 Robot Brown Coat. The Classic Season 15 Sun Makers Gray Coat. The Classic Season 18 Costume but with the Leisure Hive Hat and Pirate Boots.

@@jsblack7398 Yeah, the newest History of the Daleks set I have is Set 4 which is pretty disappointing since I’ve missed out on so many of the designs due to scalpers and them just not being in stock

Mmm these all Doctor sets mean NO monsters in these sets which is a big let down for me. I think they will all be a pass for me, sadly.

Would've been nice if Character bothered to retool the 8th Doctor head from the War Doctor set to fit on the 9th Doctor's body for a more accurate "Dark Eyes" appearance. I have *_NO_* idea what made Character think that using the "Night of the Doctor" head for a "Dark Eyes" Doctor figure was a good idea. Not only is it woefully inaccurate, it's also just a stupid haircut.

But this isn’t labelled as ‘dark eyes’ just ‘big finish’ and the doctor has that haircut on covers. But as you can tell by the lack of a diorama backdrop, they simply don’t have the money to do new tools and stuff this year.

I mean, yeah it’s not accurate to dark eyes but it’s what he looks like in the covers for Doom coalition, Ravenous and Stranded so technically it’s more accurate as his big finish look than the head with the short hair.

@@elwoodjacobs4353 yeah that head is very accurate to dark eyes but go look at the covers for Doom Coalition 1-4 Ravenous 1-4 and Stranded 1-3 and you’ll see the head on the figure is very accurate to them.

it's not pointless at all, as he says in the video, it's giving people a chance to get versions of the 8th Doctor that are becoming increasingly rare and expensive to get the TV movie figure, you'd need to get the two-pack with the Alpha Dalek, which is now in excess of £100 to get the Big Finish figure, you'd have to find one of the Interrogator Prime two-packs, which are pushing £80 on ebay to get the Night of the Doctor figure, you'd need to get the 50th anniversary war doctor set, who knows how much that is all that for a £16 set, doesn't seem pointless to me

They could have at least gave us a new sculpt for at least one of these figures, at least update the articulation of the original 8th doc or a Dark eye’s version that isn’t just the 8th on the 9ths body. Would give long time fans more of a reason to get these

@@TSURUGl under ordinary circumstances I would be inclined to agree with you, but in this case I'm happy there's even CO figures coming out at all. With the myriad of issues the company is facing at the moment due to the fallout from Covid, the export issues, the cost of living crisis etc, I'm just glad that they're continuing the range. They're having to make huge budget cuts at the moment to make sure that the range continues, and despite that we're still getting high-quality figures. I'd rather the budget shortcomings manifest themselves as limited figure releases and downgraded packaging rather than a dip in the quality of the figures themselves
