Welcome to another Doctor Reacts video! I jumped into an episode that ALL of you requested this time around: Grey's Anatomy Season 6 Episode 6. You all promised a thriller of an episode and you were all right. This episode is about a mass casualty event that threatens to overwhelm Seattle Grace Hospital. The ER is swarmed with burn victims and others who sustained all sorts of other serious injuries. The burn victim unfortunately required an escharotomy. I do another deep dive into orthopaedic surgery and review how we surgically treat femur, hip, and wrist fractures. I also discuss why an axe going through the chest is....nope, not a good thing.
THIS IS PART ONE OF TWO. Hit subscribe and notifications so you don't miss the conclusion of Grey's Anatomy S6E6!
Why do I love doing these Doctor Reacts videos? I've really been inspired by Doctor Mike who does incredible teaching in his doctor reaction videos. I've also been inspired by reaction videos from Dr Kristina Braly and Doctor Mama Jones and Dr Rena Malik. This is a great method for teaching various medical topics and I think I'm starting to get hooked on these medical dramas!
