The flower is a Crown Imperial sometimes called the Kaiser's Crown. Gorgeous spring bulb flower. I love them ✌️❤️⚔️🔥🐎

Correct on both accounts! Fritillaria imperialis is the botanical or scientific name and Crown Imperial or Kaiser’s crown are common names.

I bought a used 170” sprinter van, sound deadened it all already, bought my insulation, tool cabinet for kitchen and sink, solar components, 2 max air fans. Sidney is the best! Our boat broke down off Sidney Spit, and we were stranded there for a month, it was fantastic! And the people, omg, TWICE people lent us their cars to go get supplies! Unheard of friendly

I loved Vancouver Island, was my first big driving vacation. Had a 1995 Isuzu Trooper, with the back set up as my bed...was great! Drove up from Sonoma County California...took the coastal route...Oregon, into Washington state and took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. Was super cool doing that as it was my first trip to another country and getting there by boat made it kinda official.

Loved this video! I was born and raised in Sidney when there was nothing there. Miss the beach and that fisherman statue. I used to play down there and hang on the beach collecting. Haven’t been there in years. Now I’m looking out the window at snow:(

I, too, loved Sidney when I travelled with my Boler trailer throughout Vancouver Island. The little town had a very warm, welcome feel. Chrome, have you considered venturing over to some of the Gulf Islands to explore? For example, the ferry from Sidney is just a short trip to Galiano Island. It would be worth the trip especially since I know you enjoy those small, quirky towns and villages so much.
