I have been friends with these folks for 30 yrs+. I have all of my GF's husbands' contact info. I call/email/text for gift ideas, if someone passes away or update them on my son's stuff. 2 of the husbands are my son's godfather. Now there are rules to this: 1. I will do a group text, or let my GF know I am reaching out. If it's a surprise situation, I give full disclosure after the surprise. I never go into their house if my GF isn't there. Cause I don't want no stuff.

Truly, it depends on the type of friendship you have.🤗 My friend of more than 20 years and her husband are truly like my sister and brother. Never not once was there a concern of crossing boundaries because we are more than friends. We are family. Recently her husband lost his battle with prostate cancer. Now, when I talk with my friend I can share memories of conversations I had with her husband and we can laugh and reminisce on how hilarious and awesome he was to her and her children. Maturity. It takes maturity, trust & communication. It'ss vital in any friend/family/biz dynamic. Grow closer. Grow in peace. Grow together. Grow in love. All we need is love.💖

To shoot the breeze, it would be weird. But party planning, injury or whatever makes sense. My best friend and husband talk via email and that’s cool cause they tell me about it. She used to be his supervisor and now lives overseas. A lot of it is work chat anyway. Their relationship has never been a second thought, but I wouldn’t call her husband to chat. I say hi when she and I video chat and that’s all that’s needed. I’ve had shady “friends”. You know when it’s a weird feeling.
