Does God promise us divine healing? What exactly does the phrase "By His Stripes we are Healed" really mean? So many people quote this verse to suggest that divine healing is available to everyone who has faith. But, is this really what this verse is teaching? In this video I break down the true meaning of this verse, how it applies to us today and whether God promises us divine healing or not.

Carl Smith scripture Mark chapter 5 the woman with the issue of blood. There was a huge crowd around Jesus trying to get him to do miracles for them but only one woman out of the whole crowd got healed. Do you think maybe there were others in that huge crowd that needed healing? Scripture does not show that he healed everyone. 24Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him. 25A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. 26She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. 27She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 29Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. 30Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?” 31His disciples said to him, “Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’” 32But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. 33Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. 34And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

So, that Question still remains. Does God still heal? The fact that some people are misunderstanding and misusing that scripture doesn't mean God won't heal. Let us be careful we don't take away on people's faith where healing is concerned. We should rather encourage people to continue to have faith in God where healing is concerned but to also teach that having faith doesn't necessarily mean using God's word to arm twist Him in doing what we want from Him. He's all sovereign God and no man can manipulate Him. He does things when and how He wants it. But just like the 3 Hebrew boys who determined they won't bow down to the idol even at the brink of death, we'll stand in the face of all sicknesses and diseases and say that "I know God will heal me and even if He doesn't I will still worship Him."

I know a senior friend who always quotes that very scripture. My father had prostate cancer and I constantly prayed that God would heal him, he didn't and died and I was so angry at God. So angry that I didn't want to pray or hear from him. After a time, I repented because my anger was great! It was then that His spirit let me know that my father was ready to be with him. I can't tell you how comforting that was to hear that from a loving and compassionate God who truly understood how I felt and stayed with me despite my anger. He is so wonderful! That same senior friend that I mentioned earlier, I was having chest pain from Asthma, and she prayed and laid hands on me, (no, she did not quote that scripture), she sincerely prayed and after a few minutes, I was fine. God is just wonderful.

Praying for a sick person is good, but your prayer has to line up with what the person you are praying for believes, there is a little wiggle room for your spouse and children, but your prayers cannot override what they believe and speak, nor can you override their will; some people will choose to die regardless of your prayers. Paul wrote that if anyone is sick let them pray, he wrote that because first and foremost the one who is sick must exorcise their faith not those around them.

Jesus never lectured the people concerning the Sovereignty of God when it came to healing! Check this out........”When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed ALL that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself TOOK OUR infirmities, and BARE OUR sicknesses. Matthew 8:16,17 The problem is not with God to heal because it was already done on the cross! The problem lies with the one who needs the healing to receive by faith! Check it out..... 7 times in the New Testament Jesus responds back after they were healed...”thy faith hath made thee whole”.

@@IndianaJoe0321 Of course we should pray for the sick. Every believer naturally does this, but not every believer is healed physically from prayer. People die. If God always wanted to heal us 24/7 then the believer should never die in actuality. This is non-sensical. What good would it be for someone to be healed, but still reject and not believe on Christ? It would be futile for them that they were healed in this case because they would still be separated from Christ. Many saw miracles and healings by Jesus, but they still did not believe on Him.

@@twisty0079 I think it's not so simple to separate the healing of sin from the healing of sickness. "He bore our sicknesses and griefs" and heh bore our sins. Jesus healed both body and soul. He forgave the paralytic's sin...then he healed the paralytic's body to show he had authority to forgive sin. The apostles prayed for God to perform healings/miracles/wonders..why? So people would believe the gospel that says he also heals us from the sickness of sin that condemns us. His name is Yahweh our Righteousness. It is also Yahweh Healer. If we minimize his healing and don't pray earnestly for it, we won't see it. Jesus didn't heal where there wasn't faith. But does he heal everyone? Clearly not. God's will above all and other issues. But we should believe he longs to heal, because whatt Father sees his children sick and has medicine and chooses NOT to give it? A rotten father, a selfish father? Or sometimes a Father who sees. greater purpose behind the testing or humbling? But since he is Father, I will and you should always believe he WANTS to bring healing where there is great suffering.

THE BEAT by Allen Parr in Matthew 8:1-17 Jesus healed people (physically sick) and the Bible says this was based on Isaiah 53. So we know there was physical components to Isaiah 53 as Peter’s letter was not the only reference to Isaiah 53. BUT I agree with your premise that people should not go around saying you will always get healed because in context of all scripture this is not the case. Job, Paul as mentioned, John 9. There are loads of examples where things bigger than healing physically are more important. God knows best and we must trust him. But one thing is clear. If you don’t believe you can receive healing you never will and people not receiving healing is not bound just by faith.

Thank you.. The truth rightly divided. I had to cut out people out of my life because of this subject. I was diagnosed with cancer 2yrs ago with 4stage breast cancer that had matastisized to my lungs, spine, and hips. I'm still on chemotherapy every week. The medical profession told me I only had 6 to 7 months to live. Praise God I am still living. God has sustained me and kept me. I am 58 yrs old. I was ready to meet the Lord but as I kept praying and seeking the Lord he begin to show me I needed to repent of some attitudes and ways of my thinking in areas of Theology. Then he showed me he was in control of life and death. He taught me with a greater understanding of his love mercy and grace. This cancer battle has been something God has used to draw me closer to him and helped me see attributes of him in a greater light spiritually. I still praise and worship and love him even more knowing I'm free from sin. Yes I still believe he can heal me physically but the most important is my spiritual walk in Christ. I have had some things said in negative ways like one person told me I was not believing God and my faith was wavering which was a straight out lie from hell. I have learned who your true friends are though this journey. I have learned a greater aspect of God's faithfulness. Thank you. I really enjoyed this video and encouraging truth. I love the Lord and his word and no matter what I face or go through in this life I'm committed to serve and follow Jesus and keep my heart and eyes on him. People can be so mean spirited and rude when they are ignorant on the truth of the Word and there is so much deception even in church which is sad. Continue teaching truth my brother in Christ. Pray for me as I continue my journey and seek truth. Bless you and stay true. Thank you again, your new friend in Jesus.

@@tinasinsaystrong5050 there is nothing wrong with you and being realistic. There is also nothing wrong with having faith that you *can* be healed, and nothing wrong with praying for that and bugging God until it happens. He may do it miraculously or through doctors, or a healing friend. A good friend was healed entirely from cancer, riddled with tumors, twice. Miraculously. The first time God took 2 years to heal him. Another friend was not miraculously healed, nor a was a family member. I don’t know their “amount” of faith, but without faith nothing pleases God. If this was used to draw you in, and as you say without cancer you wouldn’t have drawn in, then hallelujah that is a miracle in itself. Please don’t give up on healing tho because it has happened yet. I have had my fair share of calamity within my own family, and God has always delivered, one way or another. And please don’t listen to others if they judge you. They are wrong. Faith is built and we are sharpened by our tribulations. You will come out of this stronger than before, with God. I seriously want to believe that it's "your faith" in God that will move Him to heal or give answers to your desire in "His will". The woman with the issues of blood didn't quote any scripture to get Jesus's attention and healing, her faith did. The woman that that Jesus told "its not good to give the children's bread to dogs" didn't get her daughter's healing by quoting scriptures, her inner believe or faith in His ability to heal did... So many instances speaks of the inner tight faith. That's why He said if you have faith even as little as a grain of mustard seed and "SAY" (saying from the inner dept of your heart) to the mountain (which we refer to as problems or challenges) be thou remove, it shall be so

Brother Allen, I lost my younger brother in 2003 to cancer. I grieved his passing for months and couldn't understand how I prayed for his healing, then he still died. I was speaking with my father in law about this one day and he said sometimes when we ask for something in prayer, we're selfish, here is what I mean. I wanted his health restored so he could continue to live in this world so I could continue to have a relationship with him in this world. His passing actually was a healing. He passed on to Heaven, given a new body, no more pain or suffering. My prayer was answered but it took awhile for me to see this because I was selfish. Once I came to understand this, I saw the goodness of God and Thankful and continue to have Hope that we will be together again .

So, Jesus was terribly selfish healing all those people who could have just believed in him and gone to Heaven? I remember weeping when Nabeel Qureshi died, because he had a young wife and a very young infant child, and he had a ministry to Muslims. His living to raise his daughter and preach to Muslims about Christ would not have been selfish. It would have been Nabeel's own desire...as heh prayed and asked for prayer for healing. Me, if God could zap me out of this planet now, I'd be in Paradise. But I have a husband I caretake. It would be selfish of me to want to leave this difficult world to be in eternal peace and joy.

I do agree that we tend to take scriptures out of context. Yet we also tend to “LIMIT” scriptures and the context of them by our limited understanding or perspectives based on our experiences, teachings/upbringing, and theology. As sad as it is when we lose someone to sickness or death that is an experience. That experience has no bearing on biblical truth. Or how we should interpret scriptures now that this experience took place. That experience is as you stated “an isolated incidence.” It’s God’s will that all men be saved and that none should perish. Yet we know many shall perish. Our freewill and choices impact our final destination despite what men teach. So why would we believe that our choices can not or do not impact our physical well being as well? They do. That is NOT to say that everyone that gets sick has sinned or caused it. Yet a thorough study of the scriptures clearly teach that sickness came as a result of sin and the curse. Jesus paid to redeem us from sin and the curse. So based on many men’s standard and theology they believe that Adams sin brought sin, sickness, the curse & all that comes with that. Yet Jesus act of redemption only partially brought healing from the curse. So the one man’s sin Adam somehow produced a greater effect on mankind, than the redemptive work that Jesus did???? Sorry but that’s utter nonsense. Jesus paid for our salvation, our complete and total healing. Yes both Saints and Sinners get sick and both shall die. But that doesn’t take away the fact that Jesus paid for their complete healing. I can declare by Faith today that I am healed in Jesus name and I am. That I will be healed from all sickness and disease and sin. You may say “what if you die brother?” I would say death is swallowed up. When I close my eyes they immediately shall open and I shall see my Jesus face to face. I will get my healing one way or the other because Jesus paid for my complete salvation and it’s finished. So back to the verse you speak of. You only see Isaiah as referring to spiritual healing. I see it as referring to a complete and thorough healing, Jesus paid for it all. We see the greater understanding or revelation revealed when Jesus comes. You stated the healing were isolated by Jesus. I completely disagree. Jesus brought healing everywhere and always. He not one time rejected anyone from being healed that cried out for healing to Him. Everyone that believed and asked received their healing. His reply was always Yes I will. It was never, no I will not. So if you can somehow come away from the Gospels with limited healing and isolated healing that’s your choice. I come away with He paid for my complete salvation. I may not always understand the outcome, I may not always like or understand my experiences. But I wasn’t called to preach from my experiences or outcomes or limited understanding, I was called to preach the Gospel and the Word. Sadly, there’s been a lot of wolves in sheep’s clothing that taught the Prosperity Gospel and abused true healing and miracles with fake filth from Hell. That doesn’t remove the truth that Faith does matter and Jesus was clear on that. It may be a hard pill for men to swallow, but, some men do not believe in Him and His promises. Jesus was clear on that. If one locked themself in a room and opened the Bible alone and begin to study on Faith in God and His Word for example, they would come up with a theology that disagrees with the crazies that preached a false gospel of prosperity and get rich quick mess, yet they would also reject the Gospel that Jesus “only” paid for our eternal salvation. They would find a healthy balance in His Word and walk in it. Jesus most definitely warned about false signs, & wonders being done by false prophets and false Christ’s. Yet He also was clear that in His name men would heal the sick and raise the dead and so on. There will always be counterfeits until He returns, yet His bride should embrace His Word and promises and walk in His Power that He will give us as well. Balance is key in all things. We need to Stick to the Word and walk in the Word and Power of His Spirit.

I agree with all you wrote. All prosperity preachers are not just a person becoming wealthy rich. Prospering is also about building your character to be like Jesus lived and helping others. There are nothing wrong with motivational speakers if they preach the Holly Spirit. And also there is nothing wrong with wealth if you are going to use your money do help people and use the money in tbe way that Jesus wants us to. All rich people are not sinners. Well actually we are all sinners poor and rich. God has helped me many times by divine intervention and I thank Jesus. I am not rich and live at poverty level. But oh the mouths I would feed and the people who would enjoy my help. No , not from works or anything in return. Just a loving heart and Jesus also told us all to help like that. Only a few will. How 😢

Kurt Cummins when it comes to our financial blessings as you stated, they are to bless others not just ourselves (unlike the harlots that are getting rich off the poor.) Yet it’s not about how much money we have been blessed with, what’s important is are we blessing people now in our current state of affairs and blessings. Look at the precious elderly lady that gave all. It wasn’t much at all, yet to her it was everything. Jesus said, she gave more than them all. So was Jesus stating we must always give all? Well of course not. But there is something to be said about sacrificial giving and obedience to give faithfully, and when He leads us to give more. For me it can’t be about just receiving as so many focus on. For it’s more blessed to give than to receive! He will work out the details :)

You are right because we see that it was physical healing that was spoken about also from Matthew 8:16-17, except we are saying that the writer of Matt didn’t interpret the book of Isaiah properly. Too many times we try to adjust scriptures to fit our reality but that’s not the correct way. Until a word becomes rhema to you no matter how much faith you want to have it can’t produce nothing for you.

Scripture also says, "let the word of God be true and every man be a liar..."Romans 3:4 & matthew 7 says, "ask, seek, knock and it will be given to you..." I don't wholeheartedly agree with this particular video. I firmly believe that when we ask God for anything unselfishly and with faith it is given to us more often than not. Because without faith it is impossible to please God.

Give you wisdom and knowledge... This one thing I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he hears our thoughts and prayers even in the midst if our whispers and tears.I learned through personal experience...So don't give up praying that's what the enemy wants.. Use logic and always read scripture in its fullness. There are two key words in the verse TRANSGRESSIONS AND INIQUITIES which mean SINS !!! Jesus took our sins and made us right with God - healed in that sense but not physically healed. Everybody would be signing up to be a Christian if that verse meant healed of sickness. There would be no sick Christians anywhere !!! sadly there are and sadly many die young and do not fulfill a long life .They have stood on this promise and had faith etc etc yet died. I stopped using my shoulder for any heavy lifting for about 2 years. I was in constant pain and would roll my shoulder consistently throughout every day. It got to the point that the muscles holding down my shoulder blade had relaxed and wouldn't hold down my shoulder blade from lack of use. A man put his hand on my shoulder, around 2 years after the injury, and simply said "be healed in Jesus' Name". I love this so much . I’m 19 & when I was 17 I became a christian . My friend invited me to a church & it was part of the word of faith/prosperity movement thing . I have mental illness & I was declaring, praying, believing and I’m not healed (yet at least) . Fast forward, I left the church, but my friend is still there. I message her sometimes because she’s my only christian friend, but she tells me it’s because of my lack of faith. It made me feel like I wasn’t a christian. It made me bitter towards God, but then I remembered why I came to Jesus in the first place. I didn’t need anything then. I had everything going for me (or so i thought) , but I just wanted to know Jesus. And so remembering that, that knowing the truth about Christ is the GREATEST thing ever. It’s not the temporary things you can get in this life. Thank you for this ❤️

Luke 10:19 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Matthew 10:1 New International Version (NIV) 10 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. Psalm 103 Psalm 103 A psalm of David. 1 Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. 2 Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! What does this Psalm 103 vs 3 say then? He forgives ALL MY SINS and HEALS ALL MY DISEASES. Matt - NZ Awesome Word Bro, solid Bible! His Word is YEA and AMEN in Christ Jesus, and not yea and no. I thank God for the wholesome Grace, Truth and sincerity in Brother Allen, however even though there are instances where saints who have believed God for healing end up not being healed, the abundance of scripture rightly divided indicates that is NOT God’s will. His Sovereign, Eternal Word that is FOREVER settled in Heaven makes it unequivocally clear throughout the scriptures that it is His Will to heal ALL our diseases, spiritual AND physical. His other Promises that WHATSOEVER [Good Thing] we ask Him in Jesus’ Name, BELIEVING and DOUBTING NOT, He SHALL do for us, and that if two of us agree as concerning ANYTHING [Good] on the earth it shall be Done for us by our Father in Heaven, make it irrefutably clear that physical healing IS Promised to the saints, to WHOSOEVER believes and doubts not. Now it is not our job to, and we can’t explain every situation where people have not been healed (for we know in part, and there are secret things that belong unto God Alone), but are health and healing a Good Thing?? I dare say so! Sickness and disease are cursed, and from THE DEVIL. His Glorious Word declares that NO GOOD THING will He Withhold from them that walk uprightly [in Christ, Who has Become our Righteousness and Uprightness before God, having made us ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED]. The “health and wealth, name-it-claim-it, prosperity gospel” perversion has abused God’s Word, with grievous wolves twisting and wresting the scriptures for fame and profit, “believing that gain is Godliness”, but this cannot alter or invalidate the Word of God and His “EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES”. We mustn’t let the enemy use this deception to steal the unwavering Faith in the Word and Promise of God from our hearts. That is satan’s game-plan. If Christ asserts verily in explaining how He was Able to curse the fig tree and make it wither and die, that WE can command even mountains to move by the word of our mouth with mustard seed sized Faith, then surely we can command sickness and disease to wither and die in our members by our words of Faith. So every blood-bought child of God who has any sickness in their body should believe God 100% for supernatural healing by the Blood and Cross of Christ, where He spoilt principalities and powers and MADE AN OPEN SHOW OF THEM. We Christians are to expect to be made EVERY WHIT WHOLE when we pray, and not be double-minded, “tarrying between two opinions”. When He declared “Behold, I give you POWER over ALL the power of the devil”, He was not “exaggerating”!

Well, I had bipolar disorder. Operative word being HAD. I was unemployed, desperate, hopeless, in my mother's house. I cried out to God and He led me to 1John 4:17. The last line of that scripture states...'as Jesus is at the right hand of the father, so are we in this world.' I MEDITATED on that word like my life depended on it. Day and night I declared: 'If I am like Jesus, then as Jesus' brain is, so is my brain..' Symptoms began to vanish after a week. It's been 7 years. I am healed. I do not have bipolar anymore. I do not remember the symptoms, praise God!! And He filled me with the Holy Spirit around that time. It was a wonderful supernatural experience. God has shown Himself mighty in my life since, taking away not just sicknesses, but strongholds and oppressions in the most miraculous ways. My advice? Go to Jesus for this one. Seek Him. I don't know why He helps me and heals me. Maybe someday it won't happen. Maybe it always will. But He is God. Until further notice😉😋, I choose to stand on my testimony that He heals and He wants us well. ❤❤

Hello Brother Parr! I want to first say that your KZfaq channel is inspirational to me. For many years I struggled with accepting the teacher calling and see through your channel what the office looks like in operation when yielded to Jesus. So thank you for your obedience in carrying out your ministry. That said, as you mentioned, this is naturally a very sensitive topic and could not possibly be addressed to everyone’s satisfaction from the comments section of a KZfaq video. Thank you for starting the dialogue and allowing me to include my two cents for what it’s worth. The personal example you used sounds similar to an experience I had. Several years ago, a dear friend of my mine, a sister in Christ who loved the Lord with all of her heart, and lived her life declaring the goodness of God became ill with cancer in her brain. Before becoming ill she had attended ivy league schools, became a medical doctor, gotten married, and was about to become a mother when the illness caused her untimely death. Before she became really ill I remember asking her, “What do YOU want?”, as I detected in my spirit that she was at peace with what was going on. She said, “Everyone keeps praying ‘by His stripes I am healed,’ and making all of these declarations without asking the Lord what He has to say about it. I just wish people would pray the Lord’s will be done.” Since the beginning of the fall of man, we as mankind have grappled with understanding questions like, why is there sickness, death, disease, why are children dying, why do Believers suffer, why did my dear so and so have to die like this/that…? As we come into the knowledge of who we are in Christ Jesus however, in our own timing, we will come to understand that what we are going through is historic to God; meaning He’s already written our stories and how things are and will be. Every day that we live, and the things we experience has already happened in God’s eyes… (Eccl 1:9). As Believers, we have the opportunity to partner with Jesus to effect God’s Kingdom come, and His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven (Matt 6:10). So I was tracking with your message on appropriately using scripture to declare our breakthrough. Yes, we need to understand scriptures and ask in faith about how/when to apply God’s Word in our lives through Jesus using the power of the Holy Spirit who guides us to all truth (John 16:13). That said, when we got to mm:11:20 - 12:22 in the video (I watched the entire video), the train derailed. I pray that you will receive His spiritual wisdom and understanding as to the breadth of Jesus and His infinite capacity as Healer, in Jesus name! It just is not true that Jesus did not heal everyone who was brought to Him. If we look in Matthew 4:24, Matthew 8:16, and Acts 5:16, we will see some examples of Jesus PHYSICALLY healing ALL whom were brought to Him. Holy Spirit even showed me a snapshot of a time back in the Old Testament (Ex 15:22-26) when God physically healed the bitter water at Marah! When Moses cried out to God, He showed him a tree which Moses threw into the waters causing the water to become sweet and consumable for ALL the people. In verse 26, the Lord declared Himself as our healer (Jehovah-Rophe)! Yes, as you say there were isolated incidents when Jesus physically healed people. But as we see in these scriptures I just shared, He also healed all whom were brought to Him. Let us be careful about putting limitations and boxes around what God will and won’t do. He can do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we could ever ask or think (Eph 3:20). Let us seek His will for the matter we are petitioning Him for and then keep our faith in Him no matter what the answer is. With love...NB

Keep sharing this truth...I used yo be in ministry on a 'healing rooms' team....I 'did it all' the name it, claim it, confess it, pray scripture etc. I knew I was very sick and saw countless number of specialists and tried many medications, finally my go who didn't know what to do with me sent me to a psychiatrist. Thankfully I didn't take his drugs. 9 years later ...just after going to Bethel church to minister in their healing rooms....I was rushed to emergency and found out I had stage 4 NHL ( cancer). I lost everything...my job, friends, church, my home. I was so disillusioned...thankfully, God kept me despite all my theology ( exactly what Allen spoke on here) being completely blown up to smithereens. I had to start all over. And here I am 11 years later and still as sick as I was before cancer and now more symptoms due to the treatment. But I now have a better relationship with God . He has done exceedingly above and beyond. what I could have imagined. Well done Allan!

What does spiritual healing even mean? We're new creatures in christ, the old man is GONE behold all things are new. As christians we've literally become "a new species of being". Where's the room for "spiritual healing" there? God isn't repairing a broken toy-- he's done away with the old toy altogether. God could have gone the easy way and "spiritually" rose from the dead. He didn't: he rose from the dead in body. The same spirit that rose christ from the dead dwells in you... and this God is very much into manifesting unseen realities. Resist the temptation to retreat to vague notions of so-called "spiritual" healing. Is any among you sick? [the implication being there really shouldn't be!] let him call on the elders of the church and the prayer of faith Shall save the sick..."

Paul wrote Timothy and told him to drink wine for his ailment, Paul had a thorn in the flesh that wasn't healed. God can and does heal, but to assume that God wants EVERYONE healed is prideful.

The first few minutes of this really mean a lot to me. I grew up with a Mother and Sister who were very sick. As a child I prayed EVERY night for their health. I remember asking God to give me my Mothers illness so that she could be alleviated of pain. Over time I became bitter. I've learned a very difficult lesson about prayer. When I use to pray I did it in the context of trying to change God's mind. Now I pray to understand his will. I need him to feel me with his holly spirit so that I can support my loved ones with him shining in me. The women in my life have suffered physical pain and yet they are the most faithful. I trust in God and his plan. All I need is his companionship with me and I must trust him. I will continue to pray for healing but will look for the lesson if the answer is no. My Savior suffered all pain so that I can be with him and those who suffer in this life can be exalted. I love my Savior.

When Jesus died for us, He shed blood for us.. His pure and powerful healing blood. By the pure shed blood that was shed, we are healed. The Word says that life is in the blood. That's simply not true. If it was, then why wasn't Paul healed like he talked about in the video? Because His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect through weakness. We will all get sick, we will all die, and while we should pray for healing, it isn't guaranteed if it is outside of God's will. But we should count it as joy when we face trials like sickness and disease. For it is through those trials that our faith is tested, which produces steadfastness.

Good word. Being an old man and Christian since 14, I have seen a lot. I was involved in the fringes of the Jesus revolution, charismatic movement and others. I do believe that God heals. Sometimes it’s immediate, sometimes over time and sometimes not at all. I have watched strong leaders of faith get sick an die. I have seen some of little faith be healed immediately. I now understand that God doesn’t view time as we do. I believe that God created our immune system, guides medical professionals and gives us wisdom to know how to take care of ourselves. I know every time I get well that God has healed me. I also believe this body is not immune from the curse of sin and will eventually die. But as a believer I am promised a new non-cursed body.

He completely ignores Isaiah 53:4 (Surely He took up our sicknesses and bare our diseases)...also quote d by Matthew (8:17). Basically, he ignores the commentary and application given by Matthew. So this brother doesn't have any sure faith for healing. I would be really surprised if he has anything on physical healing. Also he says 1 Peter 2:24 talks about only spiritual healing yet completely ignores Acts 3 where this same Peter heals a lame man by telling him that Jesus heals Him. Anyway, good day to you.

@@antichristobama9127 I don't think what you're saying is exactly right, my brother. God says that his will is that *no one perishes.* However, the Bible also says that his own people perish for a lack of knowledge. This means that things do happen that are not God's will. The fact that people die at all when the Bible says that death is God's enemy shows that things happened that are not God's will. The Bible says not to be over much good, for why should you destroy yourself? It also says don't be over much evil, because why should you die before your time? So while it seems God has a set time for us to live and die, we can influence that time by our decisions. It says if we obey our parents, we will live long. If we sin or do not take care of our bodies, this may not be true, but it's not because God willed us to eat poorly, *it's because our decisions are involved in the outcome.* Believing God will heal is not "twisting God's arm" as the video says, it is simply believing that God provided healing through Jesus atonement. I'm saying that it's likely that we are not healed due to unbelief or wrong believing rather than God being unwilling. It could be due to traditions that make the word of God of none effect, as Jesus said about the Pharisees. if God's people perish for lack of knowledge, then it might be possible that us not being healed could be due to a knowledge issue. The question is, did Jesus pay for your healing in the atonement? That is a question each person needs to find the answer for.
