Does it really increase horsepower / Better fuel economy ??? Watch this before spending money

in todays video i will test out mass air flow sensor and show if it really increase horsepower and get Better fuel economy
we do know that making mass air flow sensor make it sense less air flow, therefore it will make the computer send less fuel
on the market they show that it increase horsepower and have better fuel economy

It’s interesting. The cars computer determines fuel consumption based on air flow readings from the maf and a/f readings from the upstream O2 sensor(s). If the maf were to read low air flow it will cause the computer to add more fuel to compensate, which is in direct opposition to what the upstream O2 is reading since you’re not actually blocking airflow in the induction system. The upstream O2 would read a rich mixture. The “confusion” so to say would cause the car to be bogged down. Probably initiate a MAF code.

If you reduce the height of spacer to keep it a few millimeters above the stock position. It may work to reduce fuel consumption and improve throttle response

As an engineer, I have to say that this is a big mistake. The manufacturer has placed the meter in the best possible position. Any request can only cause damage.

He contradicted himself. The mpg went down, but at the end he says that it is making the car consume less fuel.

Actually he's correct he's using litre per mile not Mile per gallon. The metric side is the opposite

@eep5.9 Okay, then the dumb thing worked, even though he said "the fuel economy dropped...". He got better gas mileage. Why is he disappointed? Who needs power. We need to go green. Power just gets communists mad at you. Stop being powerful.
