Defending the Biblical Roots of Christianity

Defending the Biblical Roots of Christianity

Күн бұрын

We've talked a lot about the theological shortcomings of Torahism (aka the Hebrew Roots Movement), but recently it occurred to me that their position on keeping Torah also falls short philosophically. So here's a little thought experiment. Let's pretend-for the sake of argument-that HRM theology is true and consider what that would mean for our Hebrew Roots friends. It turns out that if HRM were true, it would present a lot of problems in history and in the Bible.

@TheBiblicalRoots
@TheBiblicalRoots 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Osvaldo. Scripture teaches that salvation is necessary because of our sinful nature. On our own, we cannot be reconciled to our perfect, holy, heavenly Father. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). And, "God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (John 3:16-18) So salvation comes through faith in Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) And salvation is not something we can earn by doing things. It is a free gift from God. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Eph 2:8-10) Blessings, Rob

The Pope's Commands are but traditions of Men that Jesus warned about. I'm referring to Sunday, Christmas, and Easter. People want a reason to celebrate why not celebrate the Father's Commandments rather than Man's traditions that we were born from pagan origins. @@mrclay50 in sticking with the idea of atonement, maybe I should not have assumed and should ask another question. Am I right to assume that you would interpret Matthew 5:18 that nothing has changed in the commands as given to Israel and by proxy that they all apply to you? If you say nothing has changed, then, with the mindset of trying to remain consistent, how can you assert that you can accept Jesus’s atonement and yet still need the atonement as prescribed in the Torah (no change)? As Matthew 5:18 would be interpreted by HRM, not even the smallest part has changed, and accepting an atonement other than what is prescribed in Torah would be a huge change. What you are saying is they had political tension but not religious malfecient intention. Billy Graham graduated from Wheaton College in 1943 with a degree in anthropology. Wheaton gave him an honorary degree in 1956. Graham believed in what Charles Finney preached in the Second Great Awakening. Tim Keller grew up in a mainline Lutheran denomination. As a teenager, during confirmation, a Lutheran cleric and social activist introduced him to a Christian version of social liberation founded in a "spirit of love." Soon after, the Kellers started attending a conservative Methodist church which helped reinforce their son's more tradition conception of God and the reality of Hell. While attending Bucknell University, in his home state of Penn., Keller learned the " reigning ideologies of the time", from radical professors, including the "Neo-Marxist critical theory of the Frankfurt School."

Actually the history of the Hebrew roots concept goes back to the seventh day baptists of Europe and America in the 17th and 18th century. Also a man named Carlstadt who was an associate of Martin Luther. Here is an excerpt Almost unknown to most Christian literature is the name of Andreas Rudolph B. Carlstadt, the great apostle of the seventh day Sabbath. He was born in Carlstadt, Bavaris, in 1480 and died in Basel, Switzerland, on December 25, 1541, at the age of 61 years. Carlstadt was a personal friend and co-worker with Martin Luther but strenuously opposed him on the Sabbath issue. Carlstadt observed the seventh day Sabbath and taught its observance. D’Aubigne says that Luther himself admitted that Carlstadt was his superior in learning (Fifield’s History, Reference Remember the Apostle Paul said he worshipped the way that was called heresy, believing all things written in the law and the prophets.

You say that you would put it in the "nearly statistically impossible" category that false doctrines could be passed down for so long and all of these highly educated men never saw it... I'm sorry I'm confused are we talking about the modern day church or 2nd temple Judaism because that's exactly what Jesus accused them of doing, and accuses us of preemptively in the New Testament just like He did with them in the old. Do you not see the parallels between His first coming and His second? Both times we are judged for nullifying the commandments of God for the commandments of men. This "scientific" method you speak of is the same as the oral tradition of the second temple Jews. That's why so many rejected Jesus! "How could the elders possibly be wrong? The majority is correct!". Funny how we see the same propaganda coming from our church as we do our governments. We recognize our government lies to us, and our entertainment, but we don't think that lies could have seeped into our traditions as well? Jesus told us that they would creep in and lead us astray. Why do we always think it's gonna be the minority cult followers only? Jesus said few find the narrow gate... Not the many, though He wishes none would perish. Why can't we take Him at His Word?

Hey brother please take the time to read my insights i’m only 24 years old but I’ve been a long spiritual journey and always enjoyed to study I went from evangelical to Hebrew roots to now I’m non denominational still with a deep love for the Jewish roots but don’t see it as applicable for all believers in all geographical locations in the world I was trying to be Torah observant through high school I took the sabbath so seriously that I literally chose not to pursue my passion of basketball because I couldn’t play on the sabbath even though I had the talent to maybe really do something maybe play in a community college at least it’s something I still look back at today as a missed opportunity but I just wanted to do the will of God honestly I came to the conclusion the sabbath can’t possibly be for everyone if an Alaska when they have extended periods of day light and darkness how the heck are they supposed to detect sundown ? The verse that put me in favor of sabbath observance is Isaiah 66:23 because it seems to say all mankind will keep it in the age to come (Millenium) that could still be true but what about new moon feasts or feasts that require pilgrimages to Jerusalem we just can’t physically perform them and even Jews simply do a rehearsal without a temple Even though I am no longer Hebrew roots I still choose to refrain from pork and biblically unclean foods for practical purposes not to impose it on others I do believe there’s a lot of scientific truth in it but I also see there’s no command for gentiles saying they must keep kosher. However it is true that Jesus never declared all foods clean in mark 7 it was about eating bread with unwashed hands and the phrase isn’t in the Greek or in every translation and a clear understanding of acts 10 is really about gentiles being made clean many Christians are ignorant of these things but at the same time kosher is never commanded to keep for gentiles in fact all that was most important is what’s laid out in James decision in acts 15 but im definitely open minded and I just came to my conclusions based off what makes the most logical sense. However Jewish believers are encouraged to remain Jews (1 Corinthians 7:18-acts 21) in the Middle Ages Jews were forced to eat pork and renounce Passover and any ties in anything Jewish Dr brown even mentions it was part a catholic baptismal formulas for Jews to prove conversion and that’s wrong on so many levels .. it’s also true historically the Jerusalem church headed by James the just brother of Jesus was Torah observant along with his church but these were Jews.. it’s also clear in my studies though Constantine definitely admitted he hated Jews and wanted nothing in common with them he didn’t invent Sunday worship since the early 2nd century gentle Christians honored the resurrection on Sunday obviously that’s neither a command from scripture either but a tradition that was started and later Constantine mandated it for all Christians because there were still sabbath observant Christians in Asia Minor and in the eastern parts of the world or some kept both days . However the hardest pill for me to swallow is the change from a Christian Passover to Good Friday Easter Sunday Constantine eventually mandated it for all Christians and said he didn’t want nothing in common with Jews so why depend on their calendar prior to that in the 2nd century church father polycarp disciple John went to Rome to dispute the change .. known as the quartodeciman controversy in the early church he says “We observe the exact day; neither adding, nor taking away. For in Asia also great lights have fallen asleep, which shall rise again on the day of the Lord's coming ... All these observed the fourteenth day of the Passover according to the Gospel, deviating in no respect, but following the rule of faith. And I also, Polycrates, the least of you all, do according to the tradition of my relatives, some of whom I have closely followed. For seven of my relatives were bishops; and I am the eighth. And my relatives always observed the day when the people put away the leaven. - Eusebius 1890, Book V Chapter 24 Rome didn’t listen and they claimed they learned another apostolic tradition probably from Paul to keep it on a Sunday eventually their view won out but this still doesn’t indicate polycarp kept the Passover like a normal Jew but instead probably held communion had a fast leading up to it like a lent type practice and remember the Lord’s atoning death as opposed to Easter Sunday focusing on the resurrection. Here’s my solution though .. Paul calls Jesus the first fruits.. the feast of first fruits is always the first Sunday after Passover we should of retained polycarp’s Christian Passover handed down by John and honored his resurrection on that first Sunday of first fruits not follow a pagan calendar in order to determine Easter.. what’s interesting we know it was changed because in other languages Easter Is the same word for Passover pascua in Spanish for example pascha in Greek. Also I have to point out the many great Christian men you mentioned are in favor of a Sunday sabbath and that we should rest on that day literally im of the mindset the sabbath Is the 7th day never Sunday but gentiles aren’t ever required to keep it but have the freedom to do so. I never found a good argument to my Alaska sabbath so I stand by that. However it is something I reflect on time to time I want to please God and if I’m wrong in any way I’d like to know the truth honestly I can read the Bible in support of it or to be against it it’s all about bringing in those presuppositions and also because the sabbath isn’t hardly mentioned in the NT I can argue from Colossians 2:16 we don’t have to but then I can argue from hebrews a sabbath rest remains it just comes down to what’s the most logical interpretation. I do want to know your insights though on why it seems at least from the OT we have to keep the sabbath in the Millenium (Isaiah 66:23) the feast of tabernacles (Zechariah 14) Dr brown is of the opinion that they will be physically kept then though they aren’t required for everyone now or some spiritualize it . However I find it interesting that Orthodox Jews don’t even believe gentiles have to keep the Torah in order to be righteous they can be Noahides still eat pork still play ball on Shabbat it’s all good in the hood if you’re not a Jew lol as long as you keep the 7 laws of Noah but I also find it interesting that Noah knew clean from unclean even before Moses was born back in genesis 7 so I’m always studying always all ears I don’t think Noah was sabbath observant. The sabbath can be a beautiful thing if done in the right spirit but can also be legalistic if done under the necessity of just doing it because you feel you have to. If God truly wants me to keep the sabbath or keep the feast days to the best of my abilities Id most certainly do it but I just don’t see it logically or historically binding for all people all times in all parts of the world. However God has called messianic Jews to be a light to their Jewish brethren and that means following their customs in light of Yeshua. Im definitely intrigued though by the quartodeciman controversy what’s your thoughts that John told polycarp to keep a Christian remembrance of Passover ? Should it have been changed ?

I would say. Keep the four rules from Acts 15 and be free. As long as you act in love everything is fine. Keep those Torah laws which makes sense and are scientific proven. But dont make a big thing out of it. God loves you however you keep those. So being to eager to keep them put you in sin.

I have an entire new theory about this. Haven't decided yet if the hebrew movement is correct or not since I'm basically studying this by myself. But keep in mind the "apostle" Paul was Marcian's main disciple, and Paul, author of the main gospel for modern christian denominations, is in fact not present in the book of revelations (there are only 12 doors for the apostles in the New Jerusalem and Paul is supposedly the 13th apostle). Let me know if you have interest in my theory and I'll freely share everything I know.

I think the most obvious theory of the aversion to God's law in the modern church would be a misunderstanding or misconstruing of early church writings. I think the error is more likely in Mr. Solberg's interpretation or selection of early church writings than in a consensus among the early church. From what I remember, when I studies this stuff out a bit, it was hundreds of years before the church began to show signs of straying from a more coherent view of Scripture; and much of the obvious division in theology really rose up around that same time (so that correlation seems to align with a more Torah observant understanding of that history). It isn't that the early church got it all wrong as much as the church started getting it wrong a little later. The fact that we view Augustine as an 'early church father' is a little sad. HIs heresy may not have been as blatant as Marcion, but the influence he had on some sects of the church, which is still seen today, has not been a good thing. What if this heresy which twists the gospel crept in slowly (as these things do) and what if we can see the evidence of that in the writings of the early church if we look at a large body of those writings without a bias to interpret the very early Christian writings as being in agreement with our own theology? It's been awhile, but when i looked at it that way it did tell a different story than the one Mr Solberg tells here.

Did'nt Jesus keep the 613 mitzvahs and live the law? Did Jesus tell the fledgling Christian movement they were exempt from the law of Moses, or did that come at a later date, perhaps with The First Council of Nicaea?

We should not be respecters of men. I do not hold myself higher than any of the men you named as great men of the faith, but scripture is truth and men (yes, even me) are fallible. We have an example of what is happening now in the Bible. Look at what was going on in the days of King Josiah. He was zealous for God, and did everything he knew to be right passed down from King David. One day a book was found in the Temple, and it was brought before King Josiah. He rent his garment because there were many things left out of the traditions of his fathers. Many of the people keeping Torah now have gone through that same experience. When we opened the book and read for ourselves while seeking Truth, we realized that our fathers have inherited lies. My own personal story was like this. When I turned to God and asked Him to show me the Truth, He did. It didn't take long to see the differences. How many of each kind of animal did Noah take on the ark? I had ALWAYS been told two of each kind. This isn't what the Word says. How did Noah know the difference between clean and unclean? Why were Cain and Able sacrificing? These questions were just the very tip of the iceberg. The whole Bible is 100 percent linked. This was a huge witness for me. When Peter says it is written, perhaps we should go and see where it's written. Jesus said go and learn, so we should go and learn what He means. Paul quotes and references the OT the majority of the time; we should understand what he is talking about. When Paul says "I told you when I was with you," we shouldn't just assume that what he says after that is all that he told them before. We should connect the dots. It's all interconnected. Jeremiah 3 talks about a divorce, and how when someone divorced becomes another's then they cannot return to the first husband. Jeremiah 3:1-11 [1]They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. [2]Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. [3]Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed. [4]Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? [5]Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest. [6]The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. [7]And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. [8]And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. [9]And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. [10]And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD. [11]And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. Romans 7 answers how the House of Israel can return. Romans 7:1-4 [1]Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? [2]For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. [3]So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. [4]Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. But our doctrines passed down wants to make this about not having to keep Torah. Christ's death didn't free us from the whole law, but gave us the opportunity to come back to Him. This is backed up by Ephesians 2 and Romans 11. You were gentiles in times past when you were heathens, but now you are part of Israel through the blood of Christ. Not by your blood, but by His. It doesn't matter if your lineage says you come from Judea or not; without the precious blood of Jesus, their branches are broken off as it says in Romans 11. If we rely on Jesus' sacrifice, we can be grafted into the olive tree. These words link up to the OT very nicely. Israel was called the green olive tree. To be a broken off branch was to be cut off from among your people. You cannot make these references and be talking about something totally different. It doesn't work like that. Logic is intact. If you think Peter's vision gave us the right to eat unclean animals, then you need to read further. Peter explains what it meant. In the next chapter he recounts what happened, and the other Apostles come to the same conclusion about what it meant. Not pigs in a blanket, but that the lost sheep can return. Paul says not to let anyone judge you in food and Sabbaths, but it would make so much more sense if we understood that he was telling them not to let the pagans bother you by ridiculing you when you abstain from unclean things or keep the Sabbath. That letter was to people like me; who are called a cultist because I love God enough to be as obedient as possible. Why are people attacking us for our love of God? Is it a salvation issue? Jesus said IF we love Him, we WILL keep His commands. We can't save ourselves by our own righteousness, not a chance. All have sinned. I do not want to hear Him say "depart from Me, I never knew you." 1 John 2:1-6 [1]My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [2]And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [3]And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4]He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5]But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [6]He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 3:4-24 [4]Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5]And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6]Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7]Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8]He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10]In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. [11]For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. [12]Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. [13]Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. [14]We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. [15]Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. [16]Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. [17]But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? [18]My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. [19]And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. [20]For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. [21]Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. [22]And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [23]And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. [24]And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. If Jesus is God, which commands did He give? Not Talmud, or bylaws. Not Sunday Sabbath. Not traditions of men. People keep calling it Mosaic Laws, but Moses didn't devise them. God gave them to His people through Moses. Open your eyes, and unstop your ears. Not to hear or see what I am saying or showing. Not to hear or see what the church fathers believed. Turn to God for yourselves. Ask for wisdom.

Today is Good Friday I went to church for the passion of Christ. For those that aren’t familiar they read from several gospels and some Old Testament scriptures. They finish with prayers. Specifically prayers for Jewish people that they may come to find the Truth in our Messiah. Now why would they pray that if they have such hatred towards Jewish things? I think a lot of these messianic Jews or Hebrew roots people have never actually step foot in any Christian church to hear what the priests actually read.

One major factor in the apostasy is that evil men crept in unawares and basically changed the definition of grace. I feel pretty sure that many of the Protestant Reformers that you refer to like Luther, Huss, Tyndall etc were asked why they thought they knew better than their predecessors. For YHVH to be the great Revealer He first had to be the great concealer. He really enjoys hiding things from the wise and prudent so He can reveal it to babes at His discretion. I was more than a little bit surprised when you mentioned Ignatius of Loyola on the same par as Luther, Huss and Spurgeon etc. Unless I’ve been misinformed Ignatius was on the opposite end of the spectrum from the other men you mentioned. Their differences were more than minor doctrinal issues. Many Protestants who followed the “sola scriptura” teaching to its ultimate conclusion would end up “remembering the sabbath” instead of relying on the traditions of 2nd century “church fathers.”

If I am understanding you correctly... your assertion is that the early church leaders (2nd - 6th centuries) did not act adversarially with regard to separating a developing "Christian" orthodoxy from a developing orthodox Rabbinic Judaism? It appears that both of these developing "religious sects" authored discourses of polemical rhetoric that created heresiological markers of disassociation of one from the other. While neither side should be excused for their part in the "parting of the ways"... we have evidence that both sought to distinguish themselves from the other... therefore, it had to have an effect on scriptural understanding and interpretations not only then, but persisting for the centuries following through today! I am really enjoying your videos and have followed mostly in full agreement... but this one has me baffled a bit. Blessings

Stay away from Calvinism and the Armenian beliefs. Back loading works, front loading works, they are all the same in that they are trusting in their works to help save them and keep them saved ‘see Ephesians 2:9’ Calvinism seems especially vile in that it’s so widespread. The Calvinist gospel ‘which is not the Gospel we read in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4’ believes that if you are of the elect than you were never in danger of going to hell. If you are not of the elect you never had a Savior, and there is no good news. Any belief followed with an ism is a manmade false doctrine that saves absolutely no one. There are no doctrines in God’s Word that have ism at the end of whatever doctrine it is called, be it Calvinism or Armenianism.

What sums this up God told Jeremiah that the days were coming that he make a new covenant with house Israel and Judah not like the one he made with their fathers. This makes the one of the sacrifices of animals makes the other ones obsolete that makes the one that Jesus did makes the others invalid for salvation. In Hebrews it tell us that the old covenant made nothing perfect, it was weak in the flesh , even though it was holy and good, it didn't blot out the sins, it just covered them. Similar to a bloched up painting, it only covered the mistakes. Jesus gives the true picture and cleans it up. Now we are free from sin and have new heart.

So... Here is what GOD said about it... "...Jer 12:14 Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. Jer 12:15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land. Jer 12:16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people. Jer 12:17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD..." What did HE just say... YOU, no matter what any man writes or says at Any time, must learn and do The same as The House of Israel..." That leaves a whole lot of explaining from the Christian front, How they think this does not apply to them... And there is also the Quote from The Messiah... "...Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God..." In direct agreement with The Fathers Words...

So where far I heard most of this before, Torah is different between right and wrong. Did Yahushua-Jesus really mean that he could now eat any? Then it go on to say call no man unclean. The Pharisees made up there own oral laws. Its wasn't just that came out of Egypt, sojourner. No where in Torah does it say you had to be a Jews to join Israel. Yea what comes out of man's mouth shows what he got in his heart. Was Yahushua-Jesus talking about unclean food? ( made all food clean) Is that even in the original text? How is honoring to keep pagan Feasts Christmas and Easter? I love the King James bible, but they couldn't even translate Easter to Passover. And the Name YHWH is changed 6,823 to LORD like most bible, How do get three days three between Good Friday to Easter Sunday morning sun god Worship. Deut 18v10, O' where not under the law, but under Grace, I think I'll go to Spiritualist on Sunday, whether you want to call it Hebrew Roots, Torah movement. Do you understand the historical reason why Easter was used and not passover? It has nothing to do with a pagan goddess Istar. Do you understand that purely from a historical POV the earliest Christians gathered together on Sunday? It had nothing to do with the Catholic Church and it has nothing to do with sun god worship.

I find it interesting that you do not attack the HRM from a scriptural standpoint. Maybe you did that in another video. But in staying out of the Bible, I noticed that you skipped completely over a thorough examination into Constantine and his motives. Therein you will find much proof text of the antisemitism that abounded in those days and did in fact become normative over the next 1700 years. Consider that his edict for allowing rest on Sundays was equally beneficial to all of the pagan religions in the area as well, not to mention the commentary on the subject from Eusebius of Caesarea. That's just on the surface. You need to take your studies into the Council at Nicaea and as far as the Council of Laodicea (specifically Canon XXIX). If you really want a deep dig, read what the Roman Catholic Catechism says concerning Sabbath vs Sunday. Since both the Anglican communions and the protestant denominations are the offspring of the Roman Catholic Church created as a result of that Constantinian era. You really only proved your point by leaving out the most important and damning information. And OBTW, what religion is the richest in the world, has its own government and ultimately believes that all Christian denominations should be under its authority?

Hello! I don't believe there is "one portion of scripture meant for Jews and others meant for Christians." I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And I'm sure you would agree that not every command that God has given applies to every person at all times. Some of His commands only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or for certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I'm sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. The NT teaches that the ceremonial Mosaic commands do not apply to Christians today. (ex. Repeated blood sacrifices for sin are no longer required (Heb 10:18).) We still serve God and obey His commands, “But now we are released from the law, having died with Christ to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). Blessings, Rob

What is gossip? Also, how far are we willing to go to persecute people that confess Yeshua as Messiah, and are keeping His commands out of love? The cross is not our salvation. It's just a symbol of what Jesus did. Mr. Solberg, do you actually test any of what you say to scripture, or is your mind already made up? I am not attacking, but asking a valid question. Most of this video seemed to be putting HRM against conspiracy theories, and the earlier church fathers. Why must people knowingly lie to lead us astray? Deception is the devil's way. Jeremiah 16:18-21 [18]And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. [19]O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. [20]Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? [21]Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD. I grew up on inherited lies, but that doesn't mean my dad knowingly lied to me. He inherited them from his own dad. When men respect other men more than the Word of God, this happens. King Josiah only had half the truth, and he ripped his garment when he found out there was more to it. Even in Paul's time there were wolves coming in to pervert the truth of the gospel. What about blindness? Romans 11:25-27 [25]For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [26]And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27]For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Fullness of the gentiles be come into what? Ephesians 2, and earlier in Romans 11 answers that.

Wow! You present so many points that I would like to address. When you speak of "Christianity" please note that you are speaking of "Western Christianity which includes Roman Catholicism, and Protestantism. Eastern Orthodox, Greek, Ethiopic churches do have slightly different doctrines than Western Christianity. Also the NT cannons vary between even Catholicism and most Protestant, Orthodox & Ethiopic churches. Adding that even in Judaism, modern Orthodox Judaism, is different than 1St century Judaism. To begin with, What you and most Christian theologians fall short is you IGNORE Messiah's very words in Matthew 28:19a - 20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you". If theologians would have taught obedience to WHATSOEVER He commanded, the church would have taken a different trajectory. So maybe you can explain why *you ignore* Messiah's final command to His Apostles here. Do also remember that once a covenant is "ratified" no changes can be made to it adding or subtracting any points included beforehand. This is why one cannot after His resurrection simply remove & declare Sabbath observance, as optional and add Sunday observance as preferred. It maters not what it appears the "early church" seemed to be doing, (they did not set the terms of the covenant). There are translations that show these bible verses used to support Sunday services were actually on the 7th Day Sabbath, evidenced in even some early English bible translations. Scribal glosses are often the reason where there seems to be scriptures that are contradictory of difficult understand. So do a program on why we should NOT teach "Christ believers" to obey whatsoever He commanded His disciples, one thing He taught was Sabbath observance. Luke 4:16, Luke 23:56. To address Matt. 5:17, you as others have not researched this thoroughly, but have depended upon others' interpretation. In the Greek will find what He meant to FULFILL: to FULFILL G4137: universally and absolutely, to fulfil, i. e. ****"to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed***** as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment": Matthew 5:17; biblehub.com/greek/4137.htm Romans 8:7, shows it it man's carnal mind that keeps them from accepting God's law. That is why through all the centuries, who did not want the law, could not see the truth in the scriptures. They build there seminaries, upon antinomian doctrines and interpretation of scriptures. --------- Straight from Jesus'/Yahshua's mouth, through the Greek of the NT, we are told that His fulfillment of the law, was to ***** SHOW US HOW TO KEEP IT!!! **** Then as I asked before show us where and with whom Jesus made a "New Covenant" according to Jer. 31. The prophecy was the New Covenant was to be with the HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH. They were not present at the "Last Supper" therefore obviously did not consent to a *New Covenant* with Jesus... You are also a victim of "Replacement Theology" if you teach the New Covenant" was made without them, and God has broken His word, and did not fulfill His prophecy in Jer 31. Romans 11:27, shows the "New Covenant" was yet to be made with Israel. If what you teach was true, the Apostles on the day of Pentecost and in the book of Acts would have been proclaiming to every new audience and every new believer that they had entered the New Covenant, but THEY DID NOT! What was the "New Covenant" a secret???? On the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, the Jews came to worship in Jerusalem, with animals to sacrifice, some became believers, and they were not told to stop keeping the law, stop keeping the Sabbath, stop eating Kosher. So you have no evidence that what you assume was taught, after the cross, was ever taught to new believers, this book addresses 30 to 40 years of early church history. Here is a simple bible law to research, also found prohibited in Acts 15 is the "eating of blood". This commandment dates back to Noah. This commandment was kept in the early church until about the year 1000A.D. Why weren't you taught this in seminary? Why didn't you research this yourself? Will await your responses. Pick any or all of these subjects on which to do a video.

Thank you for bringing up Matthew 28, far too few, in my opinion, ever mention that verse and it has great importance, I believe. However, the verse does say to observe what Jesus commanded, not Moses, and as you probably already know, Matthew 5 - 7 is where Jesus gives most of HIS commands that run directly parallel to the 10 commands that Moses gave. In fact, Jesus seems to take authority from Moses in those verses. For example, “you have heard that it was said to those of old, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER” Matt 5:21 But then he takes the commandment a step further.. “But [I] say to you, WHOEVER IS ANGRY WITH HIS BROTHER, without cause, IS IN DANGER OF THE JUDGMENT” Matt 5:22 He also strengthens the commandment on adultery in the same chapter. I’m not sure how you came to the conclusion that Jesus gave a commandment of observing sabbath in the Book of Luke. In Luke 4:16, Jesus isn’t even speaking but the story is being told of him going to the Synagouge on sabbath. And the same situation in Luke 23:56, the story being told that they rested on the sabbath. I have yet to find keeping sabbath among the commands the Jesus gave, and the verses in Luke that you brought up happened before Jesus completed his work on the cross, and therefore, before his commands took effect. It was at his resurrection and before his assension that Jesus announces the he was given authority. “I have been given ALL authority in Heaven and on earth” Matt 28:18 And you have already stated the passage in Matthew 28, where Jesus instructs his disciples to teach the nations to “observe ALL things that [I] have commanded you” In light of all this, I don’t see where there is a command to follow anything Moses gave other than Jesus’ magnified moral commandments. No, Jesus didn’t abolish that old law, he enhanced it but he doesn’t speak on the commandment of the sabbath. I’m not arguing against keeping the sabbath and I don’t see anything negative in doing so, but I am arguing that Jesus was silent regarding the sabbath as a commandment. Jesus gives a warning in Matthew 24 to those who would flee Judea and to pray that it was not on the sabbath. I believe that verse goes to aid your argument much more than the other 2 verse in Luke, as it goes to show that the sabbath would still be observed up until 70AD when Jerusalem, along with the temple, was destroyed. Jesus giving a command to observe Sabbath, does not exist in scripture where he gives his other commands or anywhere else that I can find. I do wish there was more in scripture regarding that

@@williamcarr3976 There are multiple commandments that Messiah didn't specifically mention. Her never: 1 ) Forbid the eating of Blood Gen. 9:4 2) He never forbid "cross dressing". 3) He never forbid incest 4) He never forbid "beastiality". He did say that "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every things that proceeds from the mouth of Yah." This includes all the commandments, statutes, and laws previously given, as well as those commandments He repeated and/or clarified. There are two major areas that Christians do not understand 1) anything to be included in a Covenant, has to be added to it BEFORE it was ratified. Since you mentioned the Sabbath, for the Sabbath no longer be observed, and Sunday or another day substituted, that would have had to have been noted BEFORE Messiah ratified the Covenant in His blood. 2) You obviously don't understand the function of a 1st century Rabbi, Yeshua, and His disciples. In brief, Yeshua, being Rabbi, His disciples would be IMITATORS of Him, in every manner possible, as described below. So contrary to your assumption, yes, Matt. 28, is to be understood, that the commandments, statutes and laws, whatsoever He observances, would continue to be replicated in their lives and taught by His disciples, to the disciples (both Jew and Gentile) which they converted. Note below. What sense would it make for Him to live among His disciples for 3 1/2 years, showing them how to keep the commandments of God, then after His death, and resurrection, for the next 40 days, telling them, to ignore all those commandments which He taught and kept before He died. As you should well know, He gave no new commandments replacing any which He kept before he died, as most Christians teach or assume He did. After His death and resurrection, no new commandments could be added to the Covenant. "Discipleship: Its Biblical Meaning: In the first-century Jewish world of Jesus, being a disciple was all about one key word: imitation. When a disciple followed a rabbi, the goal wasn’t merely to master the rabbi’s teachings but also to imitate the way he lived: the way he prayed, studied, taught, served the poor, and lived out his relationship with God day-to-day. Jesus himself said when a disciple is fully trained, he “becomes like his teacher” (Lk 6:40). And when St. Paul formed disciples of his own, he exhorted them not just to remember his teachings, but also to follow his way of living: “Be imitators of me as I am of Christ” (1 Cor 11:1). Though the word disciple (mathetes) means “learner,” biblical discipleship was very different from modern classroom learning. On a college campus, a professor might give lectures to students in a large hall; the students take notes, and they’re examined on the material later in the semester. But there’s usually not an ongoing personal relationship and sharing of life between professor and student in the university setting today. To follow a rabbi, however, meant living with the rabbi, sharing meals with him, praying with him, studying with him, and taking part in the rabbi’s daily life. A rabbi’s life was meant to be a living example of someone shaped by God’s Word. Disciples, therefore, studied not just the text of Scripture but also the “text” of the rabbi’s life. This is why Jesus didn’t simply ask his disciples to listen to his preaching in the synagogues. He said, “Come, follow me” and basically invited them on a three-year camping trip as they journeyed throughout Galilee together during his itinerant ministry. Think about that: day in and day out for three years living with Jesus! How much they would have been influenced by his example! They’d notice the way he woke up early to pray. They’d witness his compassion in helping the sick. They’d be struck by his pressing need to go out to the sinners, Gentiles, and outcasts. They’d also observe how he taught the crowds, debated his opponents, called people to repent and offered them mercy. Much of Jesus’ way of living would have “rubbed off” on his disciples."

I agree Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God Not of works lest any man should boast.However grace is not the only thing needed to enter into heaven lets look at verse 10 For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to good works which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. we need good works and what is good is described in Romans 7:12 wherefore the law is holy and the commandment holy and just and good. some people in order to refute that we need to keep the law will quote Romans 10:4 for Christ is the end of the law to righteousness to everyone who believes. However if you look at the greek word telos it means aim/purpose so a proper translation would be for Christ is the aim of the law not the end of it. because as it is written in revelation 22:14 blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city so according to scripture and not a mans doctrine we must keep the commandments to enter heaven. as paul also wrote in Romans 2:12-13 And as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law for not the hearers of the law are just before God but the doers of the law shall be justified.

I don't think the law applies to Christians today, but some teachings of the church are not biblical. For example, philosophy was mixed up with faith early on, resulting in false teachings. Who did this and with what motivation? Of course there are different reasons and motives why this happened, but we should never forget that we are in a spiritual battle and Satan is doing everything he can to undermine our relationship with our heavenly Father. He uses various means, sometimes mixing the truth with lies. It worked really well for the first humans, so why should he change his tactics?

I posted a long comment recently, but I want to use this thread to tackle some misconceptions. First off Jew does not equal Israel. There are many Atheists that are Jewish, and many that reject Jesus as Messiah. These are broken branches. I'm not boasting against them, but merely stating facts. If they repent and turn to Jesus they can be grafted in again, and I want that for everyone. Second, Gentile is not a people group per se. It means Nations, and is sometimes interpreted as heathen. Gentiles are all of the people outside of God's Holy People. They can be grafted in as per Romans 11, and they become part of Israel as per Ephesians 2. Paul was sent to the gentiles to show them how they can be brought near, or come in. Third, I want to focus on Torah observance for salvation. I've heard many "teachers" saying that Torah observant people think that Torah keeping is a salvational issue. It is very much so. I will portray this using tactics that modern Christians use. "Is murder without repentance a salvational issue? I would say so. Oh then you believe that by not murdering, you can earn your own salvation! Nope. Well then murder isn't a salvational issue?" You see; murder without repentance excludes you from entering the Kingdom. Refraining from murder is obedience to God's command, but it doesn't take away your other past sins. The only thing that can remove sin is the blood of Jesus. That doesn't give us license to sin anytime we want but offers grace when we make a mistake. Keeping God's commands is most definitely a salvation issue, but none can keep it perfectly. Jesus did keep it perfectly, but that doesn't mean He kept every single command. He was not a woman and so those laws did not apply to Him. In modern society, I am not expected to weigh my truck at weigh stations because I am not a commercial truck driver. God had laws for farmers that do not apply to us if we aren't farmers. There were laws specifically for Kings. There were some only for Priests. Many people do not understand this because they glaze over the OT thinking it's not for them. This is what we have been taught by men. Should we go back to stoning people? If there were judges in the city gate judging according to God's law, then yes we should. Without righteous judges as Moses prescribed, then stoning is not valid. That doesn't invalidate the rest of God's Word. I get that the producer of this video is against the hypocrites of the HR movement judging people based on the pronunciation of God's name or condemning people to hell. I am against this too. I am not attacking this man, because I love him. I disagree wholeheartedly with alot of what he says, but I would give my sight so that he could see the Truth. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way, and many will see the Truth and still reject it. Back to my points. Third is that many in the Torah observance area are new in their walk, and some are overly zealous. Lumping them all together is just trying to make a new denomination out of a bunch of people waking up to the Truth. The Truth is the Word of God. Not the early church fathers, or any other opinion of men. My doctrine is that of my Master's, and His was from The Father. Look no further than scripture for your doctrine. It's fine to hear opinions and parables about how to love others, but test EVERYTHING to Scripture. Pastors are supposed to feed the sheep, not indoctrinate them. The Word is the food, but their own traditions from the pulpit will have you eating amongst the pigs. Repent, and the Father will welcome you with open arms.

Hey, Jeff. Actually, the covenant God made was not with "all present," but rather with the "house of Jacob and the people of Israel" (Exodus 19:3). The phrase "house of..." is the ancient Hebrew way of referring to one's family across generations. So the "house of Jacob" specifically means the physical descendants of Jacob (who was renamed "Israel" in Gen 32:28), aka "the people of Israel," what we know today as the Jewish people. It was an ethnic group that Yahweh set apart for Himself. This is why in the Torah, we commonly see Gentiles (sojourners, foreigners) called out separately from Israel. So although there may have been a "mixed multitude" (Ex 12:38) with Israel at Mount Sinai, God made His covenant specifically with the descendants of Jacob. Blessings, Rob

@@jeffburt1953 Hi, Jeff. The mixed multitude very well could have been present at Mount Sinai. The Bible doesn't say so, but it seems to be a logical conclusion. However, as I explained above, the covenant was not made with everyone present, but specifically with the "house of Jacob." And at the making of the Sinai Covenant, when the Egyptians who left Egypt with Israel heard the words “the House of Jacob and people of Israel,” they knew it did not refer to them. Yahweh was talking about Israel, whom He called out of Egypt. “Israel is my firstborn son . . . Let my son go that he may serve me.” (Ex‬ ‭4:22-23‬) So, yes, the Passover lamb was not for Gentiles to eat. "And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 'This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat of it'" (Ex 12:43). But God, in His mercy, did allow a way for Gentiles to eat of it. To do so they had to be circumcised to demonstrate their loyalty to the God of Israel and essentially turn away from their Gentile-ness (Ex 12:43-49). Shalom, Rob

lets talk about the feasts. forget about whether we have to keep them. my question would be why would we not want to keep the only real Holidays that God ordained instead of manmade ones that he did not give. it doesnt make any sense to me that he would want us making up days mixed with other traditions like santa claus and easter bunnies, and be ok with that while we pay no reguard to the actual fulfillment of the death, burial, and resurrection on Passover, Unleavened bread, and first fruits. these are the real days he fulfilled, and man has made up their own days and mixed it with pagan traditions. Whether we have to observe them or not, we should want to. and if we Love him, we should want to keep his word pure and get rid of anything that profanes it or that man made up. we can make up grest reasons to celebrate God the way we want, but that doesnt make it right. we should want to keep his set apart feasts.

Which of Christ's commands do you think I am ignoring, Darcy? I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). You lost me at 10:00 saying that the Apostles didn't see a need to keep the Sabbath. You should keep the Sabbath (they kept the command) commandment #4 because you (are saved) (not to be saved) It's a commandment that shows WHO you are worshiping. Are you worshipping the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob or some new hip god that we can do anything. be homosexuals, adulterers, or murders go down the list there are10? Which ones should we throw out? Christianity in my opinion is to blame for the shape of the world today. If you throw out one of God's commands you are in essence throwing them all out, so how can you say to the homosexual that their sin Is not to be judged, or the adulterer, Or the murderer? if you can plan weekly on breaking the 4th commandment. So Sin runs rampant In the world today, with no checks and balances. God's law still stands. And we are paying the price. It is the Law of the sacrificial priesthood that changed (Jesus Changed)through his death taking away the penalty we deserve and receiving that penalty unto himself Nailing" IT" "OUR PENALTY" to the cross not doing away with the command.

For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:17-20 Now, Paul said we don't need to follow the law to be saved. Yet if you want to be Great in heaven. You are too follow the Law of Moses. Look at what Yeshua said to the Rich Man. I'll let you study that. You are the one who fall short. Read below with a humble heart. If not, you will not understand it. It was sent to the Jewish people who teach the Law of Moses: First of all I want to introduce myself to you. The Lord God called me the daughter of Zion because I teach the Gospel of Lord Jesus, the Lord of hosts, based on the Law and Prophets and the Testimony of Christ, and I was born in Mount Zion. Based on the prophecy Mount Zion, Heavenly Jerusalem, is called the Kingdom of God. Lord Jesus said Mount Zion was used to be in Israel. When the Jews rejected His teaching, the Holy Father took His Kingdom from Israel and gave to the other nation that will give the fruits to it. Holy prophets prophesied the salvation of God will be split in two. One will come from the east and the other in the west. Mount Zion is relocated in the east, and Israel stays in the west. Isaiah prophesied Mount Zion is called the place of feet of God, a holy place where He will stand at His coming to judge the world in righteousness and in truth. Psalm 78:67-69 Moreover He rejected the tent of Joseph, and did not choose the tribe of Ephraim, but chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loved. And He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which He has established forever. Isaiah 60:13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I will make the place of My feet glorious. Matthew 21:43-45 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder. Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. There is only one island in the world has the shape of a man’s foot. It is Negros island, Philippines; This country is located in the far east Asia, a place also where I was born. The Lord God said in the prophecy He will not give His praise to the pagans. People who will rebuild Mount Zion are not pagans; They came from the tribe of Judah, my root. We are called the children of Zion. Here is the history why the tribe of Judah ended up in Asia. After the Lord Jesus ascended to Heaven, the children of Israel and children of Zion scattered in the four corners of the earth and the country Israel was desolate for almost 2000 years. Luke 13:35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ One of the country that they migrated and mingled through marriages was Spain, a place where my ancestors came from. Then they went to colonize Philippines. Many of the Jews went to Europe where they were left few in number as it is written in the Books of Moses. Deuteronomy 4:27+29 And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Now that you know about me, let me tell you the purpose of the Jews and children of Zion in the world of Gentiles. Based on the words of God the earth will become the Kingdom of God. You know what that means when the Lord God turns the earth into His Kingdom, it has to be holy as Him. For it is written God is holy and those who want to serve Him must be holy. The world is filled with people who have uncircumcised hearts; They worship graven images, love all sorts of celebrations, prideful and envious. They are like an untrained bull. The words of God said people who behave as such cannot enter the Kingdom of God, and this mean they will be destroyed just as in the days of Noah or in the cities of Sodom and Gommorah. The Book of Ezekiel said He is a God who has no pleasure when one dies. He called Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to establish His Kingdom on earth. The purpose of building the country Israel is to give the Gentile nations a chance to learn His truth, their purpose on earth and living holy life. He sent Moses and His prophets to teach them holy life on the basis of obedience to the Law of Moses Romans 3:1-2 What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God. The Law of Moses is not just a law but the foundation of the government rule of God, righteousness, justice and a way of life to live by in order to obtain eternal life. Eternal life that the Lord God is talking about is a life without physical death. Because no one can obey it perfectly, the Jews whom the Lord God appointed teachers of righteousness or the Law of Moses sinned and also condemned. Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin. Romans 2:17-24 Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law. You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written. You can read in the Books of Samuel, when king Saul transgressed God’s holy commandment, he became more evil. He envied and wanted to kill king David. So transgressing the Law of Moses will make one unclean. That is what happened with the Jewish nation. They are also as unclean as the Gentiles. Lord Jesus came to save the Jews from condemnation and Hell for sinning against His Law. Here is the summary of the salvation of God; The work of the Law of Moses is to wash the Jews and Gentiles from paganism, while the work of the salvation of the Lord Jesus is to wash their hearts from iniquities such as pride, envy and lies that came from transgressing the Law of Moses. True salvation of God must come with three teachings: Law of Moses, Prophets and the Testimony of the Lord Jesus. Based on the Testimony of the Lord Jesus and Paul, Gentiles have no part of the Kingdom of God or called the children of God unless they are first tutored by the Law of Moses. Matthew 15:22-26 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.” But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” Galatians 3:24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. The Book of Daniel prophesied there will be a time when the Gentiles will rise up and rule the world. They entered into the country Israel and changed the everlasting ordinance of God from the Law of Moses into democracy that came from Greek gods. They are teaching the people to use their freedom to do whatever they want. That is how the country Israel become defiled with the sins of the Gentiles. As you can see pagan priests have freedom to march with their carved images “abominations” in the streets of Jerusalem. The worse thing is their religions are perverting the teaching of Lord Jesus and Paul; They said they are no longer under the Law of Moses, and they do it in the name of Christ. Lord Jesus said when you see these abominations of desolation spoken by Daniel you must flee because the Lord God will take vengeance for rejecting His Law. Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people- The fruit of their thoughts, because they have not heeded My words nor My Law, but rejected it. Mark 13:14 So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the Law. Let those who can understand the writing of the Spirit and the bride come. Lord God of hosts, Holy Father Lord of hosts, Lord Jesus The Spirit and the bride Mount Zion, Heavenly Jerusalem Gabriel, an angel of the Lord

I was just meditating on these very concepts this morning after reading most of Jeremiah in one sitting. The night that the Holy Spirit came upon me 4 years ago, God gave me insight into my mission for Him. I am one of the weeping women in mentioned in Jeremiah. The night that Jesus saved me, He told me through the prophet Jeremiah that: An abhorrent and terrible thing has happened in the land! The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule on their own authority, And My people love it so! But what will *you* do at the end of it? I did not know the meaning of these things at that time, all I knew was the Christianity that the world presents, and saw no issues aside from what I saw as "fringe heresies". But the Holy Spirit showed me that the majority is on the wide path leading to destruction in a dream I had... this same dream also showed me things that had not happened yet in the world 4 years ago, that have since happened, and some that are yet to unfold... By seeking the old paths and the spirit of the Law that Jesus came to teach us, (and which was always present) I have found so much joy and peace in salvation!! The parable of the wicked vine growers recently opened my eyes. The son has the same message as the servants before him. The message Jesus taught was not His own but His Father who sent Him. Their Will is one and the same. The message is one at the same. Salvation through faith leading to sanctification by grace. The law is a tutor leading to Jesus. It's a narrow path. And His burden is not heavy! The Lord is my Shepherd and my strength. The Samaritan woman proved she was a lost sheep by her faith. So do we 😉 through Abrahams seed the whole earth has been blessed. Through Jesus, but also because of the many diasporas, (as you mentioned) we are all children of Abraham. There are only 12 gates into New Jerusalem. We all will fall into one of those gates.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. This scripture throws a monkey wrench inside the whole theory that the truth about keeping God's law was kept from people for over 2000 years. Christians today do not have to keep the old covenant. Acts 15 as well as other scriptures are pretty clear about that. Jesus the Christ is the end of the law he is the fulfillment of the law, he is our Sabbath rest in God he is our Passover.
