Here we are with another doll making diary... This one is about all the extreme tedium that is preparing a BJD sculpt for casting in resin!
I share a bit about decisions I've made for this doll, a bit about the materials I use and what I'm fixing in each step of the process, a bit about checking the fit of eyes, and some of what I've learned along the way :)
Tahl will be heading off for professional casting soon, and that means... He's going to be available for preorder!
I've never sold any dolls I've made before, but he's getting cast for me one way or another. I may as well give others who love him a chance to have one. But there will be more information about his preorder when the very first sample cast comes back from the caster, and I have to mail this newly-completed master to be molded, first. Exciting!!
