In todays video i will show how to clean throttle body weather if its cable controlled or electrical
so Don't Clean throttle body before watching this, there are some things you should know before cleaning that way you don't damage your car and cost you more for repairing
Steps for gunk Cleaning cable controlled or Electrical Throttle body
---So for cleaning cable Controlled Throttle body, after i removed throttle body hose and spray CRC throttle cleaner with plate closed and then open the plate and spray the cleaner again, then wipe it with paper towel
after 5 minutes put the throttle hose back
--So for cleaning Electrical Throttle body, after removing throttle body hose, spray CRC throttle cleaner with plate closed and then put the key on (ON) position, ask someone to hold the gas paddle and spray the cleaner again, then wipe it with paper towel
release the gas paddle
after 5 minutes put the throttle hose back

Thanks for the guide. I cleaned mine yesterday. Suzuki sx4. I used a kettlebell (it was in it's box) to keep the pedal depressed 😂 it had quite some soot on it from the pcv valve... I used mannol’s carb cleaner (I couldn't find the intake valve cleaner). The engine started up like yours but no codes came up. I took a test drive and could feel after cleaning that the gas response and acceleration are better, idling might be a bit quieter too. 👍🏻

Thanks for your video. But need to warn you not to spray CRC spray directly into the TB . Spray on a microfiber towel or shop paper towel

totally agree with this....spraying directly into the TB just redeposits the crud to another place.

Nice video, I have been cleaning it this exact way so many times in my elantra gt, with 0 problem so far, just an advice, be careful while cleaning and avoid pressing or pushing the throttle body butterfly itself 'cause you can damage the inner parts in it.

it's better to do routine maintenance when doing routine oil changes.

Yes it's better to clean it once a while so the carbon don't damage the door

Not if it is an electric throttle body. You could damage the sensitive motor inside or mis-calibrate it. My experience with the best results is remove the throttle body off the car, clean it and reinstall it.

It showed a Mass Air Flow Sensor code because you turned on the ignition to open the throttle body butter fly valve while cleaning and the MAF sensor cable was disconnected.

@@KukLinSky Error codes will disappear eventually after its fixed or use a code reader from Harbor freight to erase the codes immediately. They're like $40 and come in very handy.

Ok. That happened in my car. But I can not back to normal. It is an honda crv. P0100 keep coming. No matter how many times I do disconnect the battery. The whole night disconnected. Please, some idea?

If it drives fine afterwards, you did not. If you messed it up, you'd know without a question not long after.

your start up sequence looked off. rpm should stay round 2k & gradually drop as the car warms up.

This is the completely wrong way.just reassemble it from car and clean it when you clean it like this what you are showing all the dirt in intake manifold will goes inside I don't recommend this way but yes if there is some problem with throttle body wire you are thinking that if I remove it may be break then dont remove it .

not harmful. solvent dissolves the carbon build up burns off after starting engine.

To prevent check engine, it's better to remove the positive connector from the battery and remove throttle body off from the car, clean it and reinstall it. Cons: you will reset the electronic systems.

It's about first start actually, where there is something else than air in throttle body, it messes air fuel mixture, then it throws that error code
