Don’t Get Dirty Without This FRAME Cleaning Routine! (Prevent Rust)

Hey everyone I made this video to demonstrate my method of clearing out the Tacoma’s frame after 5-6 off-roading trips which involved lots of mud.
As you can see it was already decent, but dirt and debris remained inside the boxed and c-channel sections of the frame, as well as inside of suspension components.
Note: the undercarriage washer left behind debris that ONLY the rubber tubing was able to flow out. More of this mud was in the c-channel to my surprise. But makes sense because the c-channel in the rear is more exposed to the elements.
☝🏼REMOVE YOUR SPARE! It was crazy how much dirt was under there.

That will be my wash method when i get my new ride. that undercarrige wash after salty roads will be good... flush the salt out well. thanks !

I need to do this for my 2010 Tacoma's second frame that was installed two or three years ago. It only has 126k miles now and I plan to drive it till the end of time.

Brian, thanks. I have the 2023 4Runner SR5 Pre. You helped with the Nav System. This will help when we move to Colorado near the Broncos to clean off the Winter Road salt or Snow. What is that film spray you spoke of.

Great video I’ve been planning to do this to my truck. Question about using that underbody sprayer? Is there any areas where the pressure washer could cause electrical issues? I never seen you spray under the engine area in your video!

Yea i have a new silverado and im trying to keep it in new condition for ever. Already got some dust tho all underneath. Hard to remove as you can’t technically “scrub”.

Simple green contains copper and can promote corrosion due to dissimilar metal interaction... Something to be aware of especially in places where it my not get rinsed off completely.
