There are loads of awesome finds at Ritchie Bros, but you gotta know what you're looking at. Always inspect before bidding.

Own an Excavating company. Bought a GatorMade trailer new. 20 ton air brake model. In 30 days it rusted so bad they took it back and gave us a new one. The new ones brakes caught on fire during it's trip from the dealership to our yard. They have zero quality control.

Wow, that's an awful experience, I guess it just goes to show you that just because something is new does not mean you should skip the inspection.

That checks out. In my observation, Gator Made trailers are garbage.

@Julien Hubley this was my first experience with them, but I was definitely not impressed.

Your title may generate a phone call from RBA. When I worked there they had a great legal team. Great advice in the video, but RBA has Buyer Beware everywhere and a great Bidder's Rights section of your auction book.

I’m glad you’re showing people this video ! I’ve been going to these auctions they have in Florida and if it’s something that has a motor or engine you better check it before you buy anything! They all look so nice and clean at first and then you realize the one that looks the best is in worse shape mechanically than the other ones 😂❤🎉buyer beware

I heard a quote that rings true: "not all equipment at the auction is junk but all the junk equipment is at the auction"

Not a single one of these trailers sold for less than 11K Big Tex is nice but good golly they are expensive.

What are you saying don’t get screwed? RB isn’t trying to screw anyone. You should always inspect your item. Your title makes it sound like RB is trying to take advantage of people.

No, I'm saying inspect because the pictures they take are designed to sell the item not show you its actual condition.
