One chap during the cold snap had been put up in the local travellodge, but was still sat outside Tescos in the cold. In the short time I was there, he was asked if he wanted some food, by members of the public. I on the other hand was working a 10 hour shift. Sometimes I wounder who has it worse?

I migrated there some 30+ years ago. We have similar issues but not nearly so bad. (I try to visit the uk every couple of years and keep abreast of current affairs) .The UK has been living way beyond her means for decades and now the chickens are coming home to roost. Added to the fact that I have watched as successive governments have mistake after mistake. And I can’t believe what’s happened to the country of my birth that I still love dearly. Just the other day, both my adults thanked god that they are here. Nowhere is perfect however.
