This used to be another full show, then viewership tanked and since then the effort they put in has been slowly decreasing. Just look at the thumbnails the last few weeks, literally zero effort.

I had a used '73 Grand Prix SJ. It was a boat, and had a 400 w/a 4 barrel. It wasn't bad as far as speed goes. It had a moon roof. It had the turning radius of a 747. I loved that tank.

Correction, the car Star Lord drove was a ‘78 Mustang II King Cobra, which had the first 5.0 V8 of any Mustang & a much cooler body kit & paint job

You definitely have to remember that back in the day the power figures were underrated to keep insurance prices lower not to mention all of those cars just needed an intake swap and they were generating high horsepower and massive amounts of torque. It’s funny how much you guys hate on the old school cars but I still love this podcast

As a Malaise Era lover, I’m coming into this very skeptical as most “Malaisians” consider 1974 the worst year for cars as all of the good leftovers from the early 70s before the oil crisis were gone by ‘74 & the Mustang went into its infamous 2nd generation. Interested to see how you guys argue for ‘73.

The Opel kadett C came out that year aswell as the mk1 VW Golf. It was a good year for Europe.

Porsche 914 and the Nissan z were a thing, Alfa was selling cars in America in the 70s. Lil red express might have been worth mentioning. It wasn’t all malaise.
