haven't seen a single dolphin in this Donky Kong country underwater level. have seen a couple of camels though.

Decino has such great attention to detail he is even mimicing the sound of a dying whale at 26:32 while playing Swim with the Whales.

That fight with the two Cyberdemons, the teleporters and conveyors is really clever. Makes a whole unique scenario without new enemies, just with good level design.

Hey Decino, how about this? There is no DOOM mappers commentary on KZfaq and I would really love to see some insight of them and their inspirations for their WADs. How about you invite some of the WAD creators to have a chat with you while you play through a map or two? It would be awesome to hear what Ribbiks or skillsaw have to say, for example.

For those of you curious this is indeed Donkey Kong Country music. I believe it is taken from the Gameboy Advance version of the water level in DKC 3 which I will link if you're curious. I feel like the rocket launcher area, the area with the two Cyberdemons, and the spider mastermind area are the hardest part of the map. The teleporting Cyberdemons can end your run fast if you get unlucky.

Even though I've never played any of his levels since they seem really, really hard, there's no doubt that Ribbiks is one of the best mappers out there. The fights seem really cool and thought out, and the level design in just gorgeous. Plus, to top it all off, DKC music!

I'm dying, you can hear him getting angrier and angrier about that fight every take.

I'm five hours late watching it just turned WiFi on and saw this video was up and as I've been really looking forward to watching this I'm going to its half four in the morning at the moment but I ain't going to be falling asleep just yet so time for a decaff coffee and a sit down with definitely my favourite doom play through/information channel. Will edit the comment at the end of the video though I will say for now I did really enjoy watching the last video on the classic doom sounds that was cool I'm sure I've heard the icon of sin box spawning sound effect in loads of stuff games and movies. I'm certain I've heard sound effect in movies in fact maybe a couple of movies not really sure thinking about it off the top of my head. I can see why that first part of this was so hard on that narrow path nine attempts you say on that part alone I mean that doesn't surprise me I could easily see myself having a lot of trouble with that if I'm honest .i am really liking the blue effect in this map looks really nice. The part 15 minutes in with the two cyber demon's you did that really good I think if that was my first time doing that part the big cyber imps teleporting out to those side paths yeah that would throw me off to start with definitely. Well I've finished the video now really enjoyed it made a few edits along the way some of parts of this map I was thinking to myself about how much trouble they would cause me trying to get through those bits but other than that yeah definitely liked this, the map looked really cool I like the blue effects and in certain areas of the map with the way it was done with the music as well was actually quite nice they went really well together. I guess in a way if it's like sunlust but blue I'm thinking a nickname for this could be nightlust lol as I myself would kinda see blue effects used in game's being like a night time effect can't really think of a better way to word it lol though it is five in the morning for me now so I am feeling pretty sleepy now lol. Anyway cheers for the upload like I said really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing more. Cheers again

I like you included the attempt you won the RNG fight in the out-takes, so we can feel the victory.

For the aesthetics I cannot think in anything other than a underwater ancient base cave that was possessed by the demons a very long time ago, that's why the first level was completely abandoned, another lost and annihilated civilization: doom guy knew what was lying in that ancient and wicked entrance, and he will never rest until every demon are dead for good, just like he did in Sunlust, I haven't seen all the other levels, but maybe they're linked together like somekind of reverse tower, or maybe different places of the same planet, or dimension, or maybe a part of hell that is unknown.

No BFG was an interesting design choice to keep you on your toes for this map. Also, this guy really does seem to be a fan of packing tons of enemies into confined spaces. Enjoyed it - looking forward to the rest of the set!

Love these videos! Would you mind including the blind run too in the beginning? They're so much fun to watch. Like how you did with Sunlust, blind first (including frustration) then the successful run. Loved that format! Either way cant wait for the next two levels haha.

The atmosphere in this map is holy hell... That alone brings a lot of interest to finish this level. I love what the creator did with the lighting. It's spectacular. Fights are also pretty doable. Not like those in slaughter maps, where you pray for survival.

Yeah I'd love to see Ribbix play his own maps. Instantly, he would gain ALL of the DooM community as subscribers.

Hey Decino, great video! I'm an English teacher and just wanted to mention about your comment in the video about raise/rise. It's pretty simple to figure out which to use if you know why. If (A) makes (B) go up, then use raise. Ex: I (A) raise my hand (B). If (A) makes (A itself) go up, then use rise. Ex: I (A) rise from my seat (A myself). Other examples might be like the sun rises. Because the sun is going up by itself. Or asking someone to raise the bridge for a boat to pass underneath. A person raises the bridge, the bridge doesn't and can't raise itself.

10:10 - 10:55 that was pretty amazing. You didn't even need your full health stack, though I imagine it gave you more confidence :-)

Oh, my... When I watched this video for the first time, my BV5800 was in service center. All I had was ASUS phone with a dead battery, so I couldn't leave a comment. And now KZfaq recommendations says that I should cover that mishap (or make up for it? Damn, my English is imperfect). Anyway, if my memory is correct, two Mooha-boys in short succession was too much for me at that time. So, keep up the good work, keep Mooha-boy's booties kicked and... Ugh, next map will be hard.
