Double Cardan Drive Shaft Rebuild

5 жыл бұрынThe Jeep Wrangler YJ has a double cardan rear drive shaft that needs to be rebuilt. The ball joint at the center of the double cardan has failed and needs to be replaced.
This also allows me to drop the skid plate and realign the transmission and transfer case so the drive shaft will stop hitting the tub.

You know I've watched several people do these videos on the double cardan driveshaft and not a single one has filmed putting that last ujoint in. They always skip that part because it is a pain in the ass

Just doing it. The last joint was tough. Using the vise and the shaft between your legs let me have two hands to get it lined up. Then it came together.

Hi, I see the needle bearings in the ball joint were prelubed, but was the ball itself, or did you need to find a grease coupler to grease it? Thanks for the vid.

I got it off of Amazon 1310 Double Cardan Kit. It is a compilation of parts to make the entire kit.

Do you know if this part number fits a 2012 Jeep Wrangler 3.6 rubicon? I been to every store and no one knows what my part is or part number. Been stressful
