This is honestly the finest toothpaste I have ever used. Once again it is a Bronner product I look forward to using. It does, over time, dissolve plaque and whiten. Finally, the Anise was a delightful surprise.

Lisa, this is the third or fourth video of yours I have watched and I have to tell you, I love that they are direct, simple and to the point without an endless chatter, which as an older adult I respect and admire are! 😂 I just moved into a new home and haven't set up everything yet, as I wanted to make my own to 1. save money, but 2. get rid of all the chemicals and dyes and plastics etc that are in the products these days. Thank you for showing me how to use these products - which by the way I all ready have in my home but wasn't sure how to use. 🤪I'll be looking for more of your videos to learn more. 🤩🥰

Good video. Fluoride is not essential in the least and should be removed as much as possible from human consumption and if possible, compeletly eliminated. The same goes for chlorine which is something else commonly found in most people's drinking waters today. Both of them are neurotoxic and have no where near enough impact on mouth hygiene to warrant them being in drinking water or toothpaste. Their is also science to suggest they play a role in the disruption of the gut microbiome and therefore have a larger net effect on your overall healthy body function and even lifespan.

@choltzapple If I cared if you believed me or not then perhaps. You can do your research on it or you can take my word for it. That's up to you. I do however read scientific journals and only get my information from recent and relevant sources. Again, do the work yourself. I'm in a comment section on youtube not writing a peer-reviewed article.
@MasterThought72

@choltzapple The fact that chlorine and fluoride disrupt the gut microbiome is actually the least studied part of what I said and even that has an incredibly relevant and recent study behind it with a wide consensus coming from the scientific community. Everything else I stated has already been widely accepted as fact by people keeping up to date on the extensive research regarding all those topics.

@5:01 "...and normally children like the Anise one, because..." I am no child, and I like the Anise flavor. I purchased the 4-pack (consisting of 1 tube, each, of the 4 flavors (now that Spearmint is available)). I tried the Spearmint first, and it was very good. It took a few brushings, to get used to the absence of foam (that I was conditioned, over the decades, to expect). Now I prefer the absence of foam. Next, I tried the Anise flavor. Initially, I preferred the Spearmint. But like a song that does not initially grab you, the Anise flavor grew on me. I now prefer it over the Spearmint flavor. I have yet to try the cinnamon flavor or the peppermint flavor. But I expect that they will both taste good (maybe I will discover a new favorite?). Air pockets: For decades, I was using popular brands found in the supermarket. Without exception (as far as I remember), they all had air pockets. So you are squeezing the tube, and suddenly you lose 25% of what you thought was paste in the tube, because that pocket of air suddenly get released. I have not had any air pockets in my Dr. Bronner's tubes (and I am close to finishing my second tube). So what you see and feel is what you get. No deceptive larger tube, 25% filled with air. Lastly: I do not know if it is my imagination, but my mouth feels cleaner. It took a couple of weeks, and it hit me, that my mouth feels fresher and natural. Cheers!

This dentist is a bit ingenuous. Silica is sand-abrasive to the "glass" on your teeth (as she called it). Fluoride is only in municipal water. About 25% of people in the US are not on municipal water and I am sure much higher elsewhere. Personally, not a fan of fluoridated water, prefer it just in my toothpaste. She lost some credibility in my eyes (catering to advertising this product). Does not mean I won't use the product, but I take the dentist's comments with a grain of salt. I do like that the toothpaste doesn't contain SLS which I have found I have problems with, but I find that it is missing in a lot of generic toothpastes (read the label).

@@jamiehershon actually, I’m not. I have been researching this since 2002, and the last time I was at a dentist was February 2020, told my new dentist that I had not used fluoride since 2002, and my last cleaning was 2007. The guy was amazed because he said my teeth were totally healthy, and I was 55 years old in 2002. Just do some research, my friend. 🧡 Not trying to fight with you, just letting you know that some of us understand things if we have researched them for a while, which I have been doing for years. Also, fluoride is an actual drug that is allowed to be distributed in water sources in America without a prescription, and you don’t know how much fluoride you’re getting if you’re where the water first starts coming out into your town, or if you’re at the end of the line. Also, if you’re drinking this water, you’re ingesting fluoride. But if you look at your fluoride toothpaste, the back of the package has a warning saying that you need to go to a poison control center if you ingest toothpaste in the amount of the size of a pea. There’s a reason for that, my friend. (if you haven’t seen this warning before, just go ahead and grab your tube of crest, or whatever you have, and you will see it right there.)

Hi there- Neem Leaf or bark extract is becoming a popular ingredient in toothpaste because of its ability to reduce plaque on teeth and for its antibacterial properties. In our toothpaste, coconut flour, silica, calcium carbonate, and baking soda all contribute to remove plaque, debris, and surface stains. There is little research available about the antibacterial benefits of neem oil, but the amount of neem oil in a toothpaste is likely not significant enough to provide any noticeable benefit. Additionally, neem oil is a popular natural pesticide and is moderately toxic to aquatic life. At this time, we’re not looking to incorporate this ingredient into our products.

Hi there- Our All-One Toothpaste has a 3-year shelf life from its manufacture date, which is represented by a lot code either on the crimped end of the tubes or on one of the small ends of the cardboard box and are in the form of a Julian date. The first number of the Julian Date will always represent the year that the products were manufactured. In the first example, products that begin with 1, represent 2021. The next 3 digits will what day out of 365 the product was manufactured. For example, February 1 is 032. We recommend that you use the product up 12 months after opening, before the 3-year mark.

The subtitles being in Spanish makes this video really difficult to watch for those of us that rely on the CC but speak/read English and not Spanish. A better option may have been to do the CC in English and then have a user provided Spanish translation.

@KellyS_77

No, it couldn’t. They are separate options when using KZfaq. Instead of uploading the Spanish translation as the “closed captions” they could’ve uploaded it as the “English-Spanish” translation, which would’ve been more appropriate AND is where a person that prefers to have the text in Spanish would normally look for a translation. Using the closed captioning option instead of the Spanish option means that Deaf or hard of hearing people cannot easily understand this video, AND it is a confusing place to put the Spanish translation for people that rely on that.

@GoingGreenwithLisaBronner
@GoingGreenwithLisaBronner 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve- RDA measures how abrasive a toothpaste is to the tooth enamel that protects the dentin beneath it. All dentifrices at or below 2.5 times the reference value, or 250 RDA, are considered safe and effective. Dr. Bronner’s Toothpaste measures at 119.92 ± 3.67 - well within the federal and international limits and is considered safe for a lifetime of continued use.

Hi there- Emanuel Bronner, or Dr. Bronner who founded Dr. Bronner's Soaps, was my grandfather. He passed away in 1997 and the company was then run by his two sons - my dad Jim and my uncle Ralph, assisted by my mom Trudy. When my dad passed away the following year, my oldest brother David took the helm and was joined soon after my other brother Mike. They still run the company today. As often happens in a family-owned business, I’ve worn many different hats at the company over the years although my current role and title is Dr. Bronner’s consumer educator, advocate, and company spokesperson and editor-in-chief of the website, Going Green with Lisa Bronner.
