This entire "debate" was James White asking pointed questions and Alma Allread obfuscating.

What did yall think? I wish most debates were like this, the respect and maturity between these two men on display was fantastic. Of course I side with Dr.White and pray Alma comes to the eternal Christ, Christ Jesus

Alma stated that LDS members do not need to believe the doctrine to be members, then why do bishops ask "do you believe J.Smith was a true prophet, or believe that "the" church is true", before baptism and temple recommend s are approved? If a person said no, would they be approved for temple work or baptism?
