In this video, Muralee Thummarakudy, Director of the G-20 Global Land Initiative Office of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, underscores the importance of the work done by the Miyawaki Memorial Live Nature Lab run by M. R. Hari and his team at Puliyarakonam. Efforts are on to duplicate this model in ten million schools all over the world, in a bid to inspire young minds to work towards protecting as well as preserving Nature, and combating climate change.

നമ്മുടെ മൂന്നാർ , ഇടുക്കി, വയനാട് കയ്യേറ്റങ്ങൾ ഒഴിപ്പിക്കാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്യൂ തുമ്മാരക്കുടീ ... Kerala government ഒന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.... , supreme court, central government, MOEF നെ കൊണ്ട് ഈ കയ്യേറ്റങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ഒഴിപ്പിച്ച് റവന്യൂ / വന ഭൂമികൾ തിരിച്ച് പിടിക്കണം ..... വലിയ പരിസ്ഥിതി നാശമാണ് ( plastic pollution, concrete resorts, കയ്യേറ്റം ) ടൂറിസം എന്ന പേരിൽ കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടുന്നത് .... മാറി മാറി വരുന്ന സർക്കാരും മാഫിയകളും കൂടി എല്ലാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു ... മിയാവാക്കി നല്ലത് തന്നെ പക്ഷെ നമ്മുടെ വനമേഖലകൾ ഇല്ലാതാകുന്നതിനെതിരെ ശബ് ദിക്കാനും , അവ നിലനിർത്താനും , വീണ്ടെടുക്കാനും കൂടി നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇടപെടൽ വേണമെന്ന് അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു .... സുഗതകുമാരി ടീച്ചർ ഒക്കെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത് പോലെ ....
