He doesn't eat red meat, but he eats sea food. His favorites are black cod, sardines, wild salmon. Check his videos on fish oil.

I have been a veggie since I was 12 yrs. old...It is a way of life, and it does change you and your body/mind ;) Interesting video ;)

Interesting. I've read several of his books, including "Eating Well for Optimum Health" many years ago and I did not know he is a vegetarian.

I would say that most of the benefits associated with vegetarianism is due to the average person inadvertently cutting out junk foods, increasing intake of nutrient rich foods. Therefore people correlate vegetarianism to being healthy because they are comparing it to the average person who eats crap anyway. However I would put forward that the person is truly health concious and is not vegetarian is on average much more healthy than the vegetarian.

However, there is alot of junk food that is 100% vegetarian. Even as a vegetarian or vegan, you still have to police what you eat. Because food is not healthy just because there is no animal products in it.

Wondered this as well. To be at the top of the food chain, doesn’t an animal have to eat other animals?

Depends upon which version of “food chain” you’ve been taught. Food chains are no longer as nature intended & don’t necessarily have to be carnivore food chains..a good example of a healthy food chain would be humans eating lamb which is outdoor raised & has a diet which includes milk from its mother, which has eaten a varied & diverse range of plants containing essential phytonutrients. These nutrients are present in the meat of the adults, milk provided to the lambs & also the meat from the lamb, despite the lamb having never eaten these plants..that’s a food chain..it isn’t exactly rocket science

I have eaten in the top vegetarian restaurants here and have never found one dish I could stand eating. Most vegetarians I know suffer from anxiety and stress and look sickly because they eat too many carbs (sugars). So o thankyou, I will stick to healthy keto.

He's still playing around, eating saturated animal fats..... Please go Vegan Dr. Weil's as the medical literature fully supports this. Please get on board with all of us. The movement has begun. Dr. Gregor is a great source of confidence in our desire to attain our ultimate individual level of health.
