How the hell is he supposed to find your daughter if you're trying to fucking kill him? Also that's absolutely amazing to see fucking _Don Bluth_ himself in a Nostalgia Critic video.

We were freaking lucky if we had enough money to play it for 3-5 minutes! I went into arcades with enough money to play for an hour or 2 cause my mom worked at a casino and didn't have babysitters so yeah we got like 5 bucks to go to the arcade till she was off. Back then 5 bucks could last more then the entire time depending on what we played. But oh no not Dragons Lair! It cost 50 cents a game and you had 3 lives and those were gone after about 30 seconds. So yeah !!!!

Tyler Rakstis I don't think it's a problem for someone to believe in a good cause and something he or she loves or would personally like to see. Someone with a voice doesn't have to completely disregard themselves, and just because someone is popular on the internet does not mean that they're a millionaire. True, Bluth hasn't done anything in a long time, but people still know his name. A ton of people love The Secret of Nimh, The Land Before Time, and his other stuff, and, yes, unfortunately, even A Troll in Central Park. He's inspired many other animators and film makers. He's not just a legend because of what he himself has done directly, but because of the effect he has had on the film and animation industry as a whole.

My top favorite 5 Don Bluth films: 5. Rock a Doodle 4. The Secret of NIMH (considered his magnum opus) 3. All Dogs Go to Heaven 2. An American Tail 1. The Land Before Time (The late James Horner's music is so memorable) I must admit, when I was a kid, I did watch his bad movies like "A Troll in Central Park" and "The Pebble and the Penguin", but, like I said, I was a kid and I didn't know they were THAT bad until I was older. Before the 90s, Don made awesome art of animation with all the dark elements in them, but when he started going to less scary, they couldn't even rival the Disney Renaissance films of 90s.
@MGSBigBoss77
@MGSBigBoss77 7 жыл бұрын
darthstarkiller1912 You must have forgot to add; Anastasia. That film was incredibly crafted. Beautifully animated and well done as one of th elate few truly features before CG films took over and 2D cell drawn North American animation took a deep dive in profits at the box office. And agreed, the man is a master craftsman at the scary animated films, akin to what the late Jim Henson said. Its not healthy to not scare kids thy must understand the fears and tragedies of the world both good and bad, by seeing some of its evils or ills first hand, even in fictional tales in movies etc. Don Bluth accomplished what Disney's truly forgotten about decades ago (if only Black Cauldron was a hit for Disney instead of a failure back in 1985) with his darker movies. Anastasia and The Secret Of NIMH.

I like that it seemed the sequel was a quarter-stealer but in a different approach. It seems people could get to the end more easier than the first but what drove them to play it again and again was getting the treasures that were fairly difficult to find (and of course the tough finale too)!

MysteriousStranger50 My God,this was one heck of an annoying senseless drivel by a delusional shill. No,by your own definition the soul games are indeed 'hard'.Super meat boy is 'challenging'.Ninja Gaiden is 'challenging'.Devil may cry 3(the original one for americans) is challenging.They require actual skills.Souls games don't. What soul games require is patience to endure tediousness and nothing else. You need LUCK to get past bullshit badly designed,badly optimized areas like blightown.Dont delude yourself,there's no actual reasonable logic to places like those.Memorization is the key

When Dragon's Lair came out, I spent $40 in quarters playing it. $40. In 1983. That's $90 in today's money. And I still couldn't finish the game. That took more even money. When Space Ace came out, I cheated, and took notes while watching someone else play the game. I believe I managed to finish the game with less than $20 of quarters.

Having the arrows is NOT cheating. You're still stuck having to deal with the random sequences as nearly split second level twitch button presses required. All that did with the arrows (basically making it a QTE game) made it approachable for a vast larger audience that doesn't have a photographic memory for all the moves. I appreciated the Wii game with the arrows and it still is crazy hard to play.

No Dragons Lair is like Dark Souls; except that it kills you 100 times over, with anal fisting with guntlets, and takes your soul. If you play this game and try to finish, it would take all of your tears, sweat, and blood drinks it then throws it up and then drinks it again. Then it takes your soul for dessert and captures your brain of any thought making your whole body a whoopie cushion. I played Dark Souls and this game ...... It's very different.
